Getting to know God through God's Word and through Prayer is a quintessential way of getting to know our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! 🙏🏽💕

My question is: who has the attribute of Sacrifice, since only the son was Sacrificed?

Good question. Hopefully, someone (perhaps Dr. Craig) will provide an answer.

Jesus chose to willingly be our sacrifice; God then RAISED HIM back to life, and now Jesus sits at God's right hand. Father and Son.

What a beautiful teaching, Dr. Craig! I have described and defined God(dess) as the "Win-Win Utilitarianism Infinite Games Mindset".

The problem is: how do we know of God apart from the Hebraic ideoms of the Bible? Because if we're going on for instance the OT, God there is willful, arbitrary, and capricious. But that can't be what God is because theologically and doctrinally God is also defined as being immutable, impassible, and ever living. A willful god can't be any of these latter things. And yet that's exactly what is being presented with the "God" of the Bible. Which is why you can't and shouldn't go on what the Bible says alone. It has to be interpreted in the light of doctrinal Tradition. Otherwise you get a misunderstood picture of God and what "He" is like.

How do you know any of these things about god? we dont even know if any gods exist, let alone any of these attributes.

Dr. Craig has stated that he adheres to Sola Scriptura. Therefore, he determines God’s attributes based on what is written about God in Scripture.

@@Hola-ro6yv Well that's not a very good way of knowing anything. The bible is notoriously unreliable. Also, I'm not sure how he got those attributes from the bible.

@@somerandom3247 that's like saying The Lord of Rings is an unreliable source for determining Sauron's attributes. Or that Star Wars is an unreliable source for determining Yoda's attributes. LoL 😂

@@user-ei9ns9hq6b I intended this response to be for somerrandom3247. You need to understand that while "the bible" is problematic in certain ways, it still entails a complete theistic worldview fundamentally. Within the entirety of its propositional content. And the theistic worldview is supported powerfully also, by transcendental argumentation that comes into play. Due to how the basic meaning of a creator God comprises what can be described as the very first principle among "first principles" from metaphysics regarding the foundational nature of reality. And we KNOW ALL those principles are true upon examination. It ALL constitutes what can be described as the necessary preconditions of human existence, experience, and intelligibility. We literally wouldn't be where we are right now were it not for the capital T truth of the principles! Especially the very first principle of that our creator exists. The "ground of all being" or what is singularly ABSOLUTE and is the source or reason ultimately, for why all the things we can see and touch, exists.
