For instance in Kenya, it's on a basis of 70-100 A, 60-69B, 50-59C and 40-49D. I have gone through some presentation and the use 2.1, 3.7, 4. Thanks Cynthia! This is very informative. I don't have a masters degree and in the Chevening website it says that they require a 2:1 hons degree or equivalent to qualify for the scholarship. The schools I have chosen accept lower degree equivalent and require certain number of years of work experience instead. Is there a chance that the Chevening committee will consider me given my current qualification?

Undergrad degree is needed to apply for a masters. The undergrad bit is part of teh eligibility but you can stll apply if your essays are strong. SO more emphasis on yoru essays.

Yes you can! SO just apply to as many as you can and land teh unconditional offer then you can switch on the portal till interview time.

Hey, in most cases IELTS is not required for the application process. If you meet the academic criteria, they will give you a conditional offer (Outlining that you must submit your IELTS score by X deadline). For example, in my case, I have applied and been accepted by the 3 universities whithout my IELTS results. The deadlines are usually some months before the course commence. :)
