the reason why it’s a flop is because tana didn’t take enough time to plan this out. from the time she posted her video on why she hates vidcon to then, it’s clear there wasn’t enough thought and focus put into this. she didn’t think about what would happen if tickets were free, she didn’t think about the overlapping schedules that the people she said would be there would also be at vidcon. but most of all, she didn’t think about people’s safety. i didn’t respect her in the first place and this just made me lose even more respect for her. hopefully she’ll take more time and not rush this event if she does decide to do it again next year.

Luna S hopefully she won't attempt this again and if someone else wants to try to attempt this, it's someone mature, responsible, accountable, knows how to do this and thinks of those things, is older and is more reliable and trustworthy than Tana is. I don't know how she can attempt to do this again after how bad this is and all the scandal that's happening, not to mention how she's lied about so much of it and those lies are coming out now. She and the company that was behind her for this are going to be out of a lot of cash. Plus, this will do damage to her reputation and I don't know how anyone could place their trust in her to buy tickets for another one. According to the police involved, there was not 20,000 people there. The hotel wasn’t even supposed to be able to accommodate nearly close to 5000 people who were supposed to show up. I’m sorry but I don’t think that we should go light on Tana or the event company involved. They should have done their due diligence and made sure everyone would be safe and have a good time if they wanted an “inclusive convention”. she let her pride and arrogance get ahead of herself and any safety and inclusivity because she wanted to spite vidcon. 4/5 of the ticketed people would not have been able to be in there. That doesn’t sound inclusive to me. People could have been seriously hurt. They are using the 15000 people who “just showed up” to cover their asses, where they pulled that number out of. Even if the event company fucked up and told her it was going to be fine to host this, this is her convention and she should have done her due diligence if she wanted an event to be actually better.
