Making them Hashira would’ve been a nice touch, but I think it ended on the right note. The Demon Slayer Core lost so many swordsmen and Hashira as well as the master that to celebrate their victory just didn’t seem right. As stated, the Corp was disbanded. Also, yes, they proved themselves, but one of the requirements were to defeat upper or lower moons solo. Tanjiro did kill the last lower moon, but he had help. The same thing for the uppers he and inosuke defeated.

No, they didn't need to be of Kinoe Rank. The trio needed to be at least Kinoto Rank to be considered for a Hashira position as Sanemi was a Kinoto when he defeated (Former) Lower Moon 1: Ubume. The rest of the requirements were stated in the video. However with only two spots open (for obvious reasons) only two of the Trio would've been able to fill in those spots. Tanjiro for obvious reasons would've taken Rengoku's place, being the first Sun Hashira since the Senguko Era and in terms of who would've taken Tengen's place, it could've been either Zenitsu or Inosuke.

First of all they need to be Kinoe then do the requirements which is you must either kill 50 demons or behead one of the 12 Kizukis. But here is the exciting part, they need to kill the demons or one of the 12 Kizukis ALONE and without any help (In which no one among then ever succeeded in doing so). Moreover, I think why they didn't get promoted is that at the Hashira Training Arc the Corp is way too busy about the things going on and training the Demon Hunters. Additionally, one of the conditions needed to be a Hashira is to either get accepted by Kagaya Ubuyashiki or get majority votes among the Hashiras. In which again, they didn't manage to do as they are busy. (P.S : You dont need to kill 50 demons or one of the 12 Kizukis alone, it is not required to be alone. What's required is that they first have to be KINOE-RANKED.)

Demon slayers don't actually want to be demon slayers. They want to protect people from demons. This isn't like mha where crime will always be a thing, or hunterxhunter when the main character loves adventure. Demon slayers don't get strong because they love swordsmanship and fighting for the good of the world. Demon slayers get strong because they want to end the battle between demons and to finally find peace. It doesn't make sense to focus on fighting more when the goal of demon slayer isn't to fight at all.

Well, in my opinion after Swordsmith village arc there should have been one more or two more arcs after that arc then get to the Hashira training arc then jump into the two last arcs which is The Infinity Castle arc and Sunrise Countdown arc then that would’ve been perfect ending off the series like that. We still needed our main characters to go on adventures with the other Hashira. One arc with Gyomei and one with both Obanai and Sanemi. Cuz we already been with Giyu, Shinobu, Rengoku, Tengen, Muichiro, and Mitsuri. We haven’t even seen Obanai’s backstory in animation. He’s like the only Hashira with no backstory shown here. That’s why it’s hard to really accept and understand his character (for me at least) because I don’t know what he went through and know nothing about him. Also it doesn’t explain to me why he has such a deep hatred to demons. He’s like the only Hashira character that has not been given a backstory in animation. THINK ABOUT IT.

By the end of the infinity castle battle, they were all hashira level demon slayers. No official promotion yet though. And NONE of them were anywhere near their potential yet even by the end. Zenitsu could’ve been a thunder hashira with ease in a year, inoske reminds me of sanemi, he could’ve been the beast breathing hashira, (pioneering his own style) and having the pain tolerance willpower and athleticism of sanemi within a year. And then of course tanjiro would’ve become the most powerful hashira. Based on his improvement level, he would’ve mastered sun breathing, while also being able to use every other breathing style, transparent world, controlling his fighting spirit at will, most determined and always reaches another level and evolves when needed in life and death situations. He would’ve surpassed gyomei.
