Much respect for this man, anybody can get on stage and cus and swear to make people laugh, it takes a real man to be clean, and funny. Much love and aloha to you Jeff Allen.
@jeaniebird9995 жыл бұрын
An even stronger and healthier person won't allow words to affect them. It's _your_ choice, after all, so why choose to allow _any_ word have _any_ power over you? They'll never be able to touch you. They can only affect you how _you_ choose. Besides, cursing is actually a sign of intelligence and honesty, so there's no good argument that cursing is bad, in any way.
@Harloha5 жыл бұрын
@@jeaniebird999 you are correct, I absolutely agree with you. However that was not my point. I love comedy, my favorites are Bill Burr, Mitch Hedberg(rip), those are just a couple, and obviously Bill isn't a choir boy. If you took Bill Burrs act and removed all cuss words, it probably wouldn't be funny at all, if you took Jeff Allen's act and added a bunch of cuss words it also would probably not be as funny. I give all comedians credit for what they do, it is not easy. And me personally, can't get through one sentence without some kind of so called inappropriate word coming out of my mouth and me not even realizing I said something I shouldn't have. So I guess I worded my comment wrong, I definitely should not have put "anybody could" cause that is not true. I just have respect for Jeff being funny without the cursing.

I wouldn't kill them because they were such easy targets for the caustic 'wit', if you know what I mean.

He's funny but spot on. Both my teenage kids have the same argument with me. "You don't know what you're talking about Dad" or "You don't know what it's like to be 16!". Yeah, because overnight I went from being 9 years old straight into being a single Father with a full time job and bills to pay. There's a delicate time when kids go from fearing and respecting you to thinking you're the old man without a clue in life, and it usually comes when they get arrogant friends. Yet later in life when their car breaks down or their washing machine starts to leak who do they call?
