RE: Husband blindness. I've got an endocrine issue that makes me present like I have PCOS, which can cause abnormal facial hair. Basically I could be a bearded Lady if I wanted. I do not want, so I had laser hair removal like 5 or 6 years ago. Painful but very worth it. Anyway, I learned all these drag queen tips and tricks for hiding the 5 o'clock shadow. My husband used to be the only person who ever saw me without makeup and after he moved in with me (PA to IL, we met online) I would still hide it. Finally he convinced me to stop at least when I was at home, saying, "Baby, I can't see anything." And I called this thing Tom after Tom Selleck. How could he NOT see this dang thing? IDK if he was lying to make me feel better or if the Lord had truly cast blindness on this man's eyes when it came to me and Mr. Selleck. Whatever the answer really is, I thank God every night for my husband. My self esteem used to be crap, but he lifts me up and makes me feel good about myself like no one else can. This October we'll be married 15 years, together 16. He's the love of my life.
