Tekken 7 really is the best Tekken. The dynamic / balanced gameplay, slow-mo moments, customization & strong sidestepping game are my favorite aspects. Maybe T7 isn't the best in the series in terms of single-player presentation and content, but for people who actually *play the game* and stick with it (the important people), T7 rewards us year after year. So many great moments... *Quality fighting games are built to last.* And Tekken 7 has proven for over 4 years that it's the best of this era. The tournament scene continues to explode (for all the right reasons) and no one can deny that right now is the best time to be a Tekken player. Glad to see you still enioying T7 Arsenalty. I been playing tekken for 15 years, since tekken 4 (my favorite tekken by the way). See tekken become so big over the past 3/4 years has been something that really made me happy. It was also something that I never see it coming:yes, Tekken was one of the most important fighting game, but there was always something missing, Atleast for me. But Tekken 7 it's what made me love again this game:the fights, the slow-mo feature, rage art and rage drive (which I like them), are some of the new thing that I think tekken was missing. Besides, I still play the online. I'm really curious of what we can expect in the future. P.S: 4:29: I literally put that tail in every outfit I made for her.... And I'm not ashamed to admit it.😅. But you can't deny that is cool to put it on. Plus,she's the only character to have an item that change in apperance. (and no...the horns that every character can wear and they become bigger doesn't count)

What makes it great? This is one of the few games that get you into the zone. Every second counts, and the combat really tests your reaction as a fighter. Block, parry, punish, etc.

@@OldManNutcakez I've played TTT2 but I give it to Tekken7. It honestly is the greatest fighting game of all time. It use to be Street fighter 3/ Tekken 3. Also, Smash Ultimate has come really close, but Tekken7 is still the greatest. The only critisisms I have are: * no tekken Forces mode * none robus customization options Other than that, I dont have any.

Only took me 140 hours to reach Mighty Ruler on PC. Got Genbu on PS4 in 3 days. Probably 110 wins. I heard that Tekken 7 is the easiest Tekken game of the series though, I came from SFV.

The player pools are not even comparable, PS4 crushes the PC playerbase. If you want to experience a variety of playstyles & players, PS4 is where it's at. I'm sure both platforms have amazing players at the top, but the numbers are on PS4.

The variable depth of the system is fantastic. I'm a yellow rank sniffing orange rank scrub, but if I'm facing someone who's on roughly my skill level, the matches feel so thrilling and deep. When I'm better than someone I get to feel like a god of war. When I get my shit pushed in I can just appreciate the high level of play from my opponent. It's a game that's fun on any level of skill, which is a remarkable achievement for a fighting game. You simultaneously feel SO good when everything comes together, and like you have so much left to learn when it doesn't.

A lot of these were problems that Tekken used to have but are now fixed, so half points for those; but I agree that Tekken 7 is a pretty good game. Gets kinda overwhelming with soon to be 44 characters tho (Counting bears as one). That's a LOT of lab time if you wanna be good at this game. Honestly if they do another season pass and it's mostly clone characters like Christie and customization items and stages I wouldn't mind. Here's a badass DLC idea, Tekken Force with online multiplayer.

In TTT2, a lot of the characters of characters; being Violet, Miharu, Sebastian, Michelle, Alex, Tiger, P. Jack, Forest, Kuma, and Slim Bob, are all just palette swaps of other characters. Some characters; like Angel and Unknown, are close to being a copy/paste. But Unknown just has a very few extra moves to Jun's list and Angel is a watered down version of Devil Jin. Mokujin is the incarnation of copy/paste but this also gives the random choice an actual character which I think is pretty awesome. If anything, I feel like that's alright that there is a big roster. Copy/Paste or slight modifications for most of the characters doesn't really break the game. It's also neat to see if they do anything interesting to the story, help develop other characters, or even be their own interesting character. I enjoy Angel's, Forest's, Marshall's, and Sebastian's presence in TTT2 because of this.

You know what would be sick? If in the new version of Tekken 7, round 2, if instead if going back to either a loading screen or a practice mode once you win or lose a match against someone online or local, it would wait for both players if they want to fight again and if they both press yes, a cutscene will play and the winner's character would look back and see the loser's character stand up and the match would start again as normal. Eliminating the need for a loading screen if the files are preloaded in it's memory.
