Great video, Alex! I was an early purchaser of your workshop with Finn, and I've been blown away with the quality of the workshop! I've never shot a "story" before, but after watching the workshop, my mind has exploded with story ideas to shoot! You and Finn are both very inspirational in the work you do, so thank you for sharing your knowledge of photography and the industry with the world!

I think with that first question: Storytelling is sooo important. Photography is a tool/vehicle for that. It doesn't need to be done that way but it can be the only way for some people. It is so powerful.

Here we are in the mountains. It's gorgeous. I am a small figure in a giant landscape. To get here, we had to hike on this path, and before we did that, we packed our snacks. The end. I actually believe that photography, like spoken language, is capable of very profound storytelling, but when we limit our storytelling to the needs of a commercialized account on a social network, we.. well, we limit it.
