I rarely see a house where I can see nothing I don’t enjoy, but this house is one of them. Such a change from the sterility of most renovations. I liked particularly the observation that small spaces should be filled with beautiful objects. That is what I have done with my house. I feel that I’m in good company! Not one who gushes over decor, this is spectacular design. The use of natural materials have brought such warmth to the cottage. The heavy wool drapes natural old wood and all the treasures that have been collected along your way. Only questions is there a quest room???

This was such a well thought out project, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a house done as well as this where it’s a ”new build” but suits the location and heritage of it so well. I love how well the textures were used throughout, it gives you a sense of calm and homeliness without having to use loads of patterns or colours.
