Hi, As we know that the current flows when the circuit completes or we can say the current flows in a closed circuit. And now how the circuit is completed if we connect the bulb with phase and ground/earrings. The bulb will glow but how the circuit is said to be closed.

my question is why don't we have a dc negative terminal at 0 V ref. for AC we use neutral for return path which is 0V normally , if not then to make sure we connect earth wire with it . but in DC case why do we have DC voltage negative terminal to have -ve of voltage and not 0V like in the case of neutral in AC systems

Hello Sir!If only one wire (Phase Wire) carries charge and other wire(Neutral) is always at zero potential,then when we connect an AC supply across capacitor,shouldn't the plate connected to neutral always be uncharged? But for capacitor we say that BOTH plates should be oppositely charged to establish Uniform Electric Field....then how is capacitance created in case of AC supply Sir?

Than can we use direct grounding without using neutral for eg .230V bulb or fan? I.e., phase and ground(in absence of neutral)
@asmitkoirala26575 жыл бұрын
Nope. Neutral is the return path of the current. Grounding is done to allow a low resistance path for the current during faulty situation. If there is no neutral, the return current will flow through this ground. Obviously this isn't the purpose of grounding.

It was not satisfactory to me. Could you Pls tell your opinion on electrones flow in phase and neutral wires and its direction.? At intial, Your video itself was saying current flows in both direction. Means Electrons are flowing through neutral wire. Then balance of protons and electrons are not equal. When protons and electrons are equal then it is said to be neutral. Now Neutral wire has gained electrons in it while current is flowing, it means that has obtained -ve charged. Atom who loses electrons get +ve charge and vice versa for -ve charge. What's your stand. Where am I wrong here.
