Why the 3Ds Launch was Horrible

The 3Ds was a definitive staple of my childhood, and I mean it. I may not have had many game consoles growing up, but I for sure had Mario Kart 7, Super Mario 3D Land, New Super Mario Bros. 2, and Super Smash Bros. to play. And a Kindle Fire, I was on that thing ALL the time...
Over the years, I see the PS3 and Xbox One get a lot of smoke for having some of the worst console launches in gaming history, but it needs to be known that the 3Ds was arguably worse than both of them. I mean it, as great as the 3Ds is, it's launch was HORRIBLE!
