Rear wiper and defogger should also be made mandatory. It is a necessity not luxury. Nissan Magnite has it from it’s base model which costs around 7 Lacs. While Harrier, Creta and Seltos etc doesn’t have in their base model which come for around 12+ Lacs

Six airbags will not increase the price so much because.. in ford figo top varient cost 50000 more than before varient,, in which they provide 6 airbags, along with many other features.. so 6 airbags should maximum increase the price to 25-30 thousands .. spending this will worth it use..

@@amestroneelectronicspvtltd1491 6 airbags me sirf curtain airbags me hi r&d ki jarurat hai kyuki 2 side airbags seats me aate hai.. you just need to replace seats,, and last in curtain airbags which are on side top panel,, you need to change that panel only to accommodate airbags,, or cast a update the new set of body panel in your assembly line up.... Its a one time work,,,, just like a facelift,, these car maker can update their car for facelift and new generation.. but cant for safety purpose.. woww speechless.. if government had not manded 2 airbags even till now we were getting cars with single airbags... Its the time car industry needs development to stand out in global car market

If govt. reduces tax on petrol diesel vehicles and if they become cheaper then no one will buy CNG, flex fuel EV, hydrogen vehicle in upcoming future. It will be disatrous for our environmemt in country like India. We need to artificially increase the price of fossil fuels vehicles until clean energy vehicle's cost comes down.
