He never said they left for allegations. He said they were unlikely to return because of allegations. I can tell you that in the case of John Barrowman and the guy who played Mickey they allegedly made crude jokes on set and Barrowman would pull out his dick in front of other cast members (allegedly).

@@Tom-vy4ue They probably won't return because each have had allegations of sexual misconduct brought up against them, one of them pleading guilty to them. It's not the reason they left the show but it does mean there's a lot of doubt about them being brought back for any future appearances.

Even though Yaz isn’t my favourite character I’d actually like to see her return for a one off. It would be interesting seeing whether her romantic feeling would continue with another Doctor or if similar to Clara she decides she feels differently. I feel exploring this side would do a great deal for her character and would be a satisfying ending

Honestly, I think they kind of blew that chance when she was not there to see Whitaker regenerate and it might feel too similar to how it was done for Clara especially if it was only for one episode.

Also for the doctors character as well would connect Jodie's and whoever is the doctor then's doctor as the same person, which I feel rarely the show does very well with how the doctor feels about different people when its a different face, probably apart from River Song. Do those same feelings for Yaz remain or do they disappear with that face? Would be interesting

I've been thinking it over as I've been watching Series 7. Although it is one of my favourites I did feel as though Clara seemed a bit too quick with the 11th Doctor. What might have been slightly better is if Amy and Rory left at the end of Series 7, just before The Name of the Doctor. It would have been cool to see them in discussion with Clara and help track her down as well as transitioning smoothly to the next companion.

@@thewholook Would have liked to have seen her in Thirteen's run. I know it gets increasingly difficult to work out the timeline, but she doesn't travel in exact inverse order of the Doctor so she could really pop up at any time. Once they started with Yaz's romantic feelings, I really thought they needed more episodes to deal with that and having River would have been interesting. I kind of would have liked seeing Thirteen continue on with another showrunner for at least a season. I also would have liked seeing Bill doing a season with Thirteen instead of what happened, so what do I know. :)

@@HuntingViolets yeah, I agree with you. I don't like her meeting the pre-Ten Doctors either, and yes, that's exactly what happened in Big Finish. She has her own series in Big Finish where she meets a different Doctor each season; I supposed they needed a selling point for the series. Since they have all the other Doctors under employment anyway, might as well have them hang out. She also has met Susan, the Doctor's granddaughter. Although they always have a cop out of using a fake name or erasing memories. Well, the thing about Big Finish and any other expanded media is you can decide for yourself what you consider as canon or not.

3 of RTD’s original male companions have been cancelled for allegations, 2 of which occurred during their era of the show! Does the ‘different time’ excuse really apply to 2005?? With Eccelston also vehemently accusing RTD of a bad work environment why is he seen as a better show runner than Stephen Moffat??

I would really love all the Russell vs Eccleston stuff to finally come out in the public so we know what's what, I know a lot of people say it's just Eccleston being himself as he's like it with a lot of projects supposedly but I really want some clarity of the situation. Especially as the day "Rose" was about to air they special that got aired had Eccleston saying how great it was being on the show and working with Russell, so I wonder what actually changed or if Eccleston was just being nice to promote the show.

@@thewholook unfortunately they are both probably telling the truth, at least from their own perspective. But the majority of people think RTD is good or at least became better at show running over his era. Standards have changed and he’s probably better at managing people. By that same measure, Eccelston has that commendable northern working man complex that the boss is always the villain.

It’s just that in a comparison of the final products there’s basically no competition, it’s got flaws as well and there’s a few Moffat era episodes that rise above most of RTDs stuff, but it’s a general trend that an episode from RTD is probably better then one from the Moffat era (even ones by Moffat himself, showing he’s a brilliant writer, just overloaded a bit with show running).

intresting video i enjoyed a few mistakes here and there but nothing major just natural human mistakes i also enjoyed the speed and couldn't tell that there were technical issues, i just thought the speed made it a quicker video. again probably just a mistake or forgetfulness but surely if wilf is a companion so is the likes of river, also if adams classed as a companion could stax vastra and jenny also be classed as companions maybe i mean to memory i cant remember them travelling with the doctor however they were in a good few episode idk

Apologies about that, that’s completely my bad. I had lots of issues before hand getting things working and whilst trying to fix I accidentally activated a setting on my software that basically stops recording anytime it doesn’t pick up any sound so it pushed everything so close together. With all the difficulties I admitted defeat with it after the amount of times I recorded this one 😅 back to normal in the future!

That issue will be sorted for the next video, I had software issues and when trying to fix it I accidentally activated a setting that caused it to only record when a certain volume was picked up, meaning gaps between words and sentences were pushed together🤦‍♂️😂

Thing with her though is she’s a recurring character rather than a true companion, whereas Jack also recurs, but he was a companion before recurring. But until she’s back, if at all, she’s left because she wasn’t asked back/her story was wrapped up(?). She has said she’d be up for returning though but this was like 5 years ago when she said that

Johns has been well known publicly for many many years though and considered by a lot of people to just be a laugh on set but after complaints a couple of years ago John got removed from lots of doctor who related stuff.

@@gaminglikeaproallthetime4563 Bruno was from 2017 and was put on sex register but I think he’s been removed now as it was only for 5 years I believe, and pretty sure he’s quit acting anyway now. Noel was a huge range from 2005 (maybe earlier) until 2021 when allegations came out, he apologised for it and said he was seeking help but denied he did it, charges were dropped and he said he denied it because he knows a of the accusations were lies, but some of the allegations came from doctor who set, a lot from elsewhere John was between 2005-2008 I believe and he got mentioned because of Noel’s stuff. He apologised as well saying he did it in good spirit to humour his colleagues and said he’s changed his behaviour once he was called up about it back in 2008 and he never meant it in a sexual way towards people, but it got him dropped from a few doctor who related stuff when it got mentioned with the Noel stuff. I mean Noel and John could potentially return, John more likely but I honestly can’t see either returning due to both coming from on set incidents but who knows, Johns situation was known about by the show when it happened and he still came back a couple years ago
