Why the Altar?

Hi Father. Thank you for sharing. I served as an Altar Server in my younger years and this was taught to us and to be at our utmost behaviour as we prepare the Altar before Mass starts. We were shown were the relic was placed and it is good to enlighten people on why the Priest kisses the Altar. Blessed be to God. I had the opportunity to serve Pope John Paul the 2 when he came to our country and blessed am to be able to seat 7 seats away from Mother Theresa when our Arch Bishop celebrated mass at the Stadium. 2022 Christmas Mass I managed to finally get to attend mass at St Peter's Basilica in Rome with Pope Francis celebrating Mass. There will be many blessings God will shower us when we surrender ourselves to him. Peace be with you all.
