This has to be one of the best messages I have EVER heard to Christian women! That analysis of Moses' conversation with God was almost TOO on the nose

I am currently taking Jen Wilkins Hebrew study and it is amazing. This message left me with knots of anxiety. While i agree with her I didn't like the way it was done. I agree with the fact that the low self esteem is a symptom and that we have in some ways been going about it wrong. But the world if full of people that loathe themselves and they need to first see and believe that God loves them and choose them and that they belong to Him and that He will never throw them away.

this was incredible to watch! may we constantly remind ourselves of who our God is. when we’re struggling, when we’re victorious, when we’re stagnant and when we’re moving at what seems too fast for us to have a grasp on what we need to, when we’re surrounded by loved one and when we’re alone, let us always remember who God is above our own limitations and situations.

Wow! I like the way she turns our selfish focus from on ourselves to the awesome focus on God Himself. I have heard preachers say that the Bible is not about ourselves, but about God. That's true, but she has helped me to have a better understanding of it all. My thanks be to God for this teaching. My understanding of "I love you" vs "i love YOU " vs " I LOVE you" ( for instance) has increased. Amazing! AWESOMENESS!

This teaching is much needed in our,now very secular, society. For a long time we have been inundated with the worship of self. Way back in 1990, my daughter’s sixth grade school class was taught to sing “The Greatest Love of All”, which was made popular by Whitney Houston’s rendition. I do realize that my child was in a public school, and that the song was probably trying to address racial issues. However, as I stood watching the performance, I was saddened that these children were singing a falsehood. They were being indoctrinated into self-love. On our way home, I had a talk with my daughter. I told her that THE greatest love of all is NOT loving one’s self, but it is The Love of God for the world. Out of God’s great love flows all true meaning and worth in life, here, and in eternity. “John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” Anything that supplants this message will lead to bondage and death. Far too many women in our society, who grew up in the women’s lib, and me generation, have been indoctrinated into believing that they are victims, so they should first seek their own gratification in life. They have made “self”be their god. If God is sovereign over everything, and the Bible is the true truth, then they are believing a lie. God’s first desire is for us to be holy. “Matthew 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Without a proper and reverent, AWE, and fear of God, society will not hold together- families will disintegrate, communities will be unstable and unsafe, and above all souls will languish,in misery, and perish.

Clarifying and a blessing to say the least. Since salvation, Ive gone from sermon to sermon, from book to book and from conference to conference. Even though there is a lot of wisdom and New Creation with a genuine reverential fear of God, largely all the rest I found myself questioning God not humans. “Wow they sound phony. Are You phony?” “Wow this person’s perception of You is ridiculous. Are You ridiculous?” “Wow this message sounds crazy. Are You crazy like us and just trying to make it home on a bus like the rest of us?” Insanity what is pumped out into mainstream and “the church” unfortunately isnt far behind. And then I hear from Breakaway Speakers and Im reminded ‘oh yeah, now I remember who You are’. Thank you

I just listened to another woman who preached practically the same message. Not that it isn't a good message, and maybe they attended the same event, however, there are quite a few lines used in both sermons, that are word for word used by both speakers. 🤔

Is the commenter suggesting this speaker is a copycat? If she were a copycat, does that weaken the power of God speaking to us through her? Should we all ignore God and focus on the speaker?

This is a great message in theory, but why does most preaching seem to have to devolve into a lecture? Why is it that God is amazing and we owe Him worship. Can it not be that He is beautiful and evokes worship? Christian preaching can be such a downer.

I hope you know that Richard Rohr, the man behind all the Enneagram books and teachings, is NOT a Christian and should not be listened to. He represents everything New Age. We can only understand our selves when we know GOD. His is the only true lens.

She means well and some of what she says is true like the fact that psalm 139 is primarily an exaltation of God, but all her mockery of finding passages where people don’t invoke “daddy God” or cry out for love or comfort does absolutely nothing to prove God is not wanting intimacy with us as a daddy abba God or that God want to comfort us with love through His Spirit. She is both illogical and wrong to mock these and other Biblical truths. For example Romans 8 says the Spirit with in us cries abba (daddy) father and Phil 2:1 says if we have any comfort of His love. Gods love is our comfort and He is our daddy and yet she mocks like how shameful it is to speak to God like that. She is way way wrong and should repent and delete this message riddle with error

To preach a message by diminishing others is wrong. God affirms Gideon, affirms even Moses. The enemy would have us believe we are less and we need to be reminded that we are the apple of God's eye. This does not mean God is diminished or that we are not in awe of God.
