Except that it has the narrowest economy seats of all narrow bodies.. don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of Boeing and I love the 787, but the narrower seat almost offsets all the next-gen perks in the cabin. That's a huge minus to me as a passenger.

You need to let doctor perform shoulder reduction surgery to get comfy onboard. It's terribly narrow yet Boeing said okay to 9 abreast seats. Among other operators, only JAL has the best cabin experience, otherwise avoid other 787 operators at all cost!

I sat in the 1st officer seat of a 787 once after a flight to Thailand thanks to me protraying my love for aviation to the nicest flight crew ever, they also taught me about the 767 door situation, when an emergency slide is deployed, that door stays open, because the weight of the door has the slide calculated in it, not without, and the way the 767 door opens, it goes up and hides in the ceiling of the aircraft! The stuff displayed inside the 787 HUDs are just like what You'd find on a fighter jet's HUD!!! Pretty damn epic!

The HUD on the A220 are the same Rockwell Collins technology. It's the best option to be made in any aircraft and required a tremendous qualification to install in factory, as the alignement with the projector and the glass is to be aligned with the center axis of the fuselage, to have a perfect horizon line and virtual runway display

Yes, flown the 787 and the HUD is brilliant! It radically improves flight precision and makes circle to land maneuvers much easier. Flown the -800, -900 and the -1,000. I also want to know if flight simulator have been able to replicate it, what I’ve seen on KZbin is ‘not yet’.

AI can enhance safety, how are 95% of airliner landings are done today? Tech = ILS, maybe? I really like a system that is always 100% focused on the position of the aircraft and what is happening around it! Hell yeah, i trust that more then two pilots that are sometimes tired and for sure are not always focused over the duration of a longhaul leg. Or think about the guys that suddenly loose their spacial orientation... A system that automatically steps in and level the flight...saving lives. Sure layers of security are needed. But @ the end its like automation in cars... the quote of accidents will be much better compared to human error. Experience and learning curves, and airbus senses the change. Welcome!
