Unfortunately, the notes to the NAB and NABRE are very problematic. Here in the UK we will be using the ESV CE from 1st Sunday in Advent (1 December 2024) abandoning the Jerusalem Bible which has been used for over 50 years.

You mean the parts the Catholic Church added because Gods word wasn’t good enough? Bingo. They also pray to Mary like she’s God. They confess to men when Christ is the only mediator. They changed the sabbath. The pope recently stated there are many ways to heaven. They are works based theology doing deeds to cover for their sin.
