Tyson played guard at Cal. He looks like a guard. What brilliant strategy is Altman cooking up? Replacing a shorter Darius Garland? Replacing a weaker offensive player like Okoro? It still doesn't make sense when the consensus was that they needed HEIGHT, and someone like Dayton's Daron Holmes was still available.

I have to agree, it feels like something is being cooked up. imo, we needed a backup big man and Holmes would have been nice.

When will the Cavs realize success in the playoffs requires length and strength?? Seems like Altman and crew have an objective to be undersized at every position. This is a formula for having an above average team that has zero chance of success in the playoffs. Look at the Celts, Thunder, Mavs, Nuggets, etc. All have excellent length and strength.

@@garykauffman8618but he’s 6’6 got a 6’8 wing span and and is “strong as an ox” according to scouts… he’s 215 not 200 or 190. that’s literally length and strength. Brown measured in literally the same coming out of college 😂😂 Some Cavs fans will always complain and fail to do their homework and are mad. Let me guess you want Koby out… for what? Because he turned around a franchise with no players or draft capital in 2 years 😂 We made it to the second round last year and you guys act like we lost in the play in 😂

It appears that Koby is addicted to drafting “undersized” players! From every draft or trade he makes it seem apparent to me that all the players he acquired are either shorter or more slighter built than the opponents they have to matchup against.

At least this guy is professional in his delivery on this podcast. Those two guys that got fired, especially Chris with the glasses didn’t give a good gat damn. Anywho this is a MEH PICK. Roll back the tape. A LOT of Cavs experts across various channels and platforms are saying the same things about Tyson that they said about OKORO and AGBAJI when they were coming out of college. In essence all Koby is doing is COPYING and PASTING. SUPER LAZY. 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️

Everyone is disappointed because we didn’t pick a legit SF. Bottom line is there wasn’t one available. They went best available like they said which was Tyson. He’s replacing Okoro. Which is much more valuable to our team than a backup big. Imagine Okoro with a little worse defense and way way better offense. That’s Tyson. Okoro pick was a total failure. It was the best pick, but it still hurts.

Let’s be honest, damn near every player in the NBA drafts are crapshoots. Maybe Atkinson can maximize this kids skill set.. but we weren’t going to get substantially better through this draft. Trades are going to need to be made, and when dudes like Bridges cost 6 first round picks to secure.. not sure we’re gunna be very aggressive in the trade market either. I just don’t see a path beyond the second round with the current makeup of the roster.
