i only use a french press. i have bought a few different beans to try, they smell delicious,,, until i brew it and they all taste the same... like dirt. starting to frustrate me now, i just want a coffee in my home that tastes as good as the coffee shops without spending 5grand of course lol. i have been grinding to a fine dust all this time, hopefully this is the problem. also i use water straight from the kettle, 100degrees. should i add a touch of cold water before brewing?
