Aur agar aap upsc ki preparation ke point of view se dekhe toh aap agriculture, labour and employment, women and child development etc mein jaa sakte hain. lekin kuch ministry mein thoda work rehta hai mha , defence and commerce, in mein thoda work load rehta hai. Actually jis post pe aapka selection hota hai woh post aso ki hoti hai jismey aapko itni jyaada responsiblity nahi di jaati.toh koi bhi ministery better hogi preparation ke liye. CSS mein generally workload kam hi hota hai.

I don't think so. MTS is Multi-tasking staff. So by definition, he is to work multiple jobs. You won't get much time.

Sir, I'm very confused between CSS and DA... Which is better for UPSC preparation...? If there is little difference in terms of work load then CSS would be better option since delhi is 3 hours away from my home... If there is huge difference of work load then I'll opt DA definitely... Ultimate goal of life is UPSC sir...! Please suggest...! 🙏 My score in CGL 2018 is 602 / general ... And home state is UP...

Go for DA in UP then. Don't go for CSS. You won't get much time there.

I think online coachings are a better solution now a days. Check out any of the teachers on unacademy or on KZbin like Rakesh Yadav, Abhinav Sharma, Gagan Pratap for Maths and Gopal verma sir for english. They are also available on Careerwill app. Btw, I don't endorse any of these teachers.

Bhai, he had been preparing for last 4 years and had actually taken coachings, notes etc before joining as ITI. All that was left was to revise the notes and keep a tab on current affairs. Nobody fresher can get so much time in Income Tax Dept that he can secure 1st rank in UPSC.
