I test rode a Harley FXDS and found it to be the most uncomfortable riding position of any bike. I had a V-rod prior to that and a Yamaha V-max. I had never ridden a Ducati before as I am a big guy but after the test ride of the Diavel 1260 s I bought one. The best bike I have ever owned, heaps of power, light and flickable, so comfortable and I didn’t need to spend 10K on screaming eagle parts to make it faster. Goodbye Harley hello Ducati.😎

Yep.I was a Harley guy for the most part and was going to buy a 2020 but the dealership had a memo that said not to offer lower than MSRP (showed it to me) and that the Bronx was cancelled.So I went to Ducati just to fool around and kill time.Left that day with my 2020 1260 :-)

@@Insaiyanrider You can ride the 1260 ALL day every day.The V-Max is an ultra brute in a straight line and if I was draggin' that's what I would get. For refinement AND power you almost have to go Diavel or Rocket3. Gotta admit though,the Max is a fun ass bike.Just not for all day rides.

@@Insaiyanrider second Generation V-Max 1700 very powerful but heavy hard to ride in twisting roads. Diavel 1260s feels like a big boys sports bike

Just came from a MT10 to a diavel 1260. I love it, and it has a fantastic motor with lots off torque. With the termignone exhaust its faster than my MT10 upp to 150 km/h. The best thing is that it dont need those ridicilous speeds to be fun as the MT10 inspired to. I like the Harley fat bob to but at around 70 hp stock its to uninspiring to drive. I cant have a bike under 100hp.

@@king4b1 I just traded my diavel to a aprilia tuono factory. I still think the baseversion is more value and you can get a termi exhaust and still be cheaper. Öhlins on a diavel is a waste.

Ducati has always been a dream bike of mine and I bought this gorgeous Machine last October. 2020 Ducati Diavel 1260S Dark Stealth and I'm glad I went with this choice. It's a Beast! Awesome review man!

I've owned Yamis, Honda, several Harleys (for most of my riding career) and now my '23 kz900rs café (takes me back), and I feel the pull of these Diavels (gotta have that single-sided swingarm!). I will likely add one to the stable.

Love my black and red 1260s. I had the first gen Diavel and wouldn’t have even considered another motorcycle until the second gen came out. Both have been flawless so far.

I have a 1260 and I will never use it to its potential but it's fun to know I have the option to be a "fast boy" whenever I want.It's my daily ride and hands down the best motorcycle I have ever had.Traded my 2018 FXBB in for it.There is no comparison.

Nice review Mike. I bought this bike in the black with the red frame a couple weeks ago. It’s got a ridiculous engine. I also have a 2020 BMW RS 1250 which is fast and more comfortable, but this is a keeper for sure. This reminds me of more of a Muscle Car than a Ferrari. Just pure brute power.

I've had many Harley's including a 49 Panhead chopper with suicide clutch and shift off the trans. I love Harley's but they don't compare to my new 2021 XDiavel Dark, what a bike....!!!

The engine of the duc pulls only above 3k revs. Definitely none of both is a cruiser

This video was as good as the bike ! Definitely took out doubts about the comparison of the other models! But I do have a question! Why does the ohlins suspension in comparison to the factory one are so much better or why everybody recommends those ones? I saw on an other video the S model was a bit stiffer and that the regular one a little bit more comfortable want to say it like that ?

Yep after owning over 50 bikes over many yrs riding,I bought 1260 Diavel.It goes like shit,brakes extremely well,is comfortable,sounds good even with standard system ,is loaded with tech and great quality.What more does anyone want.There is no way I would own a bike called a "Fat boy"

I definitely ride Ducati, coz they're not just amazing and performing, but also the sexiest out there... until they brought the Multi V4... which I'd never touch. Don't care about computers helping out, I don't sit on a Duc that looks replaceable design wise. Hope they never sacrifice the beauty of this model for some new tech features.

Hey get the low seat option, drops 15mm in height. I’m 5”3 and it works awesome, also look forward to remove the passenger pegs for better leg mobility

First off unless you get the S model the Ducati is flat out ugly imo, secondly, Harleys are cruisers ( not power cruisers) although they are plenty fast (such as my 2020 fat bob 114).. You simply can't compare the Ducati to a Harley because the Harleys are perfectly happy in the low RPM torque range and the Ducati isn't (I don't care what you say) so there is nothing like a Harley...I'm sure the Ducati is much faster with it's 160 hp but you have to ride it hard to enjoy it, while the Harley is much happier just taking it easy. Compare the Ducati to a Vmax not a Harley.

Yes, but the Ducati is more expensive as you mentioned and.....much more expensive to maintain.....I love the Ducati but....beautiful but finicky.....I’ll take the Yamaha V-Max first.....to me ( my opinion ) it’s better bang for the buck....I’ve ridden them all....

The Rocket 3 has better electronics including hill hold. Plus the Rocket 3 looks better. 😎The 2023 V4 looks much better.
