Hey Hoovie - glad to see you're doing well! Here's the secret to prolonging the front transmission: don't use it! In sport mode, the front transmission is disabled, and all the power goes to the rear wheels. The damn front trans actually 'pulls' the car forward at a greater pace than the rear trans.........thus, it is going to go 'boom' if used on a non-slippery surface. Just a matter of time. Kinda like the Jeep 4WD system - never use on dry pavement! The previous owner of my FF replaced my trans as it was leaking like crazy - $40K job! I keep mine in sport mode all the time! You can adjust the shocks to comfort mode with the button on the steering wheel - gives you great performance, and a soft ride on the highway when you wish it to be a cushy ride! I have twin car seats for the kids in the back of mine! Enjoy!!!!

I have one of these I bought it just under a year ago and use it as a daily. I've covered just over 10,000 miles in that time and there's nothing I can think of that I'd replace it with (not even a Lusso - I prefer the styling of the FF). The PTU issues are blown out of proportion, there are now a couple of aftermarket solutions that (if you're in the UK) are a drive in, drive out replacement for GBP10K (approx USD12K) which includes upgraded components to solve the design flaws/weak points of the original. In a subtle colour (mine is Grigio Titanio) most people have no idea what it is. It's only when they hear it start up they realise it's something out of the ordinary. It is awesome. If you're thinking about it and can deal with the fuel consumption (average 12mpg UK), buy one.

Never valeted one during my valeting days. Plus when we got exotics all we did was at most back them up or move them to special spots that we used for exotics only. Stuff i wouldn't have so much as gotten to sit in other wise. One of my personal unexpected favorites that deserves a mention: Fiat Abarth 500. @MuitoDaora I doubt very highly that ICE cars will be phased out by then. Too many people don't want an EV, and we don't have the infrastructure in place to make it feasible. Think about this, you want to take a vacation. The destination is 1500 miles away. With an ICE car it would be about 22 hours of driving including gas stops. That same drive with an EV is going to take closer to 26 hours. ( probably longer due to having to take detours to get to the charging stations) That extra 8+hours additional (round trip) is cutting into your vacation time.

It’s worth it for the sound and performance alone. A hidden gem if you ask me.

I have always loved euro wagons. Still unhappy with vw for ending wagons here in the states. Loved the looks of that odd duck from the start. It’s very unique.

Not the most beautiful Ferrari, but due to the proportions required for a shooting brake, I think it is quite lovely. That V12 makes such a glorious noise! And very nice spec. I'm hella jelly, Tyler!

Fun fact: Tyler is the founder and president of The "Small Meat Gang" an exclusive car club that you can only join if your meat is 6 inches in length or less... You wouldn't believe how many giant trucks, Lamborghini Gallardos, Lamborghini Countachs, Ferrari 458s, Ferrari F8s, there was also 2 McLaren 720's while

I like the concept. It looks nice to me. It makes a cool family car. It's likely a nightmare to fix if something goes wrong.

Love that you are doing the FF Justice, it’s a great car, the sticky buttons though!!!! So frustrating for an exotic.

“One of the dumbest Ferraris ever made…” Sounds just perfect for you, Hoovie! 😎
@bwofficial1776 Жыл бұрын
It's ironic to call it that because it's one of the most practical Ferraris ever made. All wheel drive, a usable back seat, and a sizable cargo area.

That FF is the best Ferrari I've ever seen. Glad you're proud of your purchase Hoovie!

Ferrari owners dont compalin about leaks or mechanical issues nor do they discuss it in public but talk trash about the quality of other manufactures. They dont even take them to the dealership for service. If they dont trust the Ferrari dealership then why trust Ferrari at all even with the MSRP. Some models are meant for the track and must be serviced and adjusted after each run. They arent meant for the hood with potholes nor stoped at red light.

It took a bit, but I finally caught when you said you purchased this FF. I looked at the prices (22NOV23) and I was shocked at how cheap you got it. That's not even considering the stereo upgrade and transmission replacement. Great freaking deal!

I think we can all agree that your smartest purchase ever was the Countach. But this thing is gorgeous too 😊
