The Founding Fathers certainly were giants in world and U.S. history and what they accomplished constantly amazes me but if anyone thinks that what they did and thought revolved around Christianity they're deluding themselves. All of YOU who look to CBN or ANY religious leader or religious authority to learn the truth about American history are deluding yourselves and you're attempting to look at something with blinders on. If you want to learn about any history you need to learn from historians and not any so called religious authority. The nonsense I've heard from christian people that the founders were guided by christian faith is pure nonsense and easily dispelled if you look to the historical record rather than religious dogmatists. Wake up and open your eyes!

My Dad and Grandpa and it goes on and on in my family taught me to be excellent but they were always better than me even though proper English came difficult for them because of their experiences and what they knew about life and the land and animals and such. Yes, I think the Founding Fathers and founding Americans were much Smarter than we are.. we who learn about life by watching Spiderman on TV! Take your kids camping. Teach them Parkour. Preserve our heritage by encouraging exploration and excellence.

In 1847, a man who looked up to Adams came to serve in Congress as freshman legislator. Soon,Adams took this man under """" mentor- they grew so close that this man was a pallbearer at Adams’ funeral. After one term in the legislature this man went home, and Adams later died after serving 28 years in the legislature- seeing none of the fruits of his labor. Now some time afterAdams’ protégé returned home, he ended up running again for office, and again, and again. In fact, he lost multiple elections, but one of the elections he did win was the most important one- the race for the seat of the President of theUnited States. This man’s name was Abraham Lincoln. He went on to be one the most important Presidents in our nation’s history- and the one who ended up freeingAmerica’s slaves

You are a product of your environment. I can assure you I became an engineer because I grew up in a family of Engineers. Parents that want to be bothered by their nasty children so they give them Pokemon-go and tell them to get out of the house

Its so strange how often real HISTORIANS disagree with the Christian founder myth! Thomas Paine, James Madison, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams were among other founders who all wrote MANY books and letters expressly saying otherwise. Some of whom despised Christianity and were very outspoken of it. Don't believe me? LOOK. IT. UP. BY. CREDIBLE. HISTORIANS. Or, even better, read their works for yourselves like i did! Do not be intellectually lazy. You're better than that. The most disappointing of all this is that we used to understand the importance of the SECULAR country our fathers very explicitly wanted. Christians understood this as much as anyone else. There's literally thousands of different Christians, none of whom would actually be happy under a theocracy. Js.

@@blood.gaming2524 Fredrick Douglas himself said the constitution and the declaration of independence were anti slavery documents, which is why he started using those documents to help the abolishionist movement. If the founders had ended slavery, the southern states wouldnt have joined the union, and slavery could've potentially lasted even longer. It is true that their view on women's rights were wrong. It wasn't until 1919 that republicans were able to get women the right to vote

@@blood.gaming2524 a lot of them didn’t like the fact slavery was around, Washington owned slaves but if they were sick or hurt he would sometimes excuse them from duties while they recovered but most the time he’d give them lighter work, adams didn’t own slaves, Jefferson owned the most amount of slaves but fought against the slave trade in Virginia, also he made fun of king George for allowing slavery in his land in the Declaration of Independence but it was ultimately taken out of it because people were for slavery, Jefferson wrote the “All men are created equal” but lots of people took it as “all freemen are created equal”, meaning white people, mostly men though as back during the time of the founding fathers, it was they way men thought. Franklin wrote on supporting abolishing slavery very late in his life but before never spoke about it. In conclusion to my statement, I’m trying to say that these men where by no means bad people, simply a unjust norm that most people didn’t see anything wrong with, if it wasn’t up for vote on how the country was gonna be like, slavery would of never been in America, today we can look at something and state our opinion without defiantly being killed for it or attacked for it, might get hated on but it’s not gonna ruin your Financial status which a lot of the founding fathers were worried about that owned slaves, they committed treason so that people could think, feel, and speak without getting imprisoned or executed for treason. If these men where alive today, they would be some of the smartest people to ever live, we have the internet to find information, the founding fathers did not yet they, in there time where very brilliant, and intellectual men. I hope to whoever reads this of any kind of offense I’ve given I am truly, dearly sorry and didn’t mean to, I am just trying to point a factual thing with factual evidence to support some of the founding fathers, attacking the intelligence because of a mindset of that day is truly idiotic, in that day you’d think the same way if you where a white man, unless you where the very few who didn’t see it as a not bad thing, but even then you’d probably own slaves, at the time they were property, so it’s not racist, it’s because for money, which is where all true problems come from, not equality or apologizing to a race because of what our ancestors did, I truly hope one day, people look at the writing of the founding fathers and look at there POV for their day. I’m now done ranting so have a Great day.
