Used to jack'em on a 1/2 ounce Arkie jig paired with a black/blue gator tail ditto worm...in hot water...it's the wagging tail and faster fall...hit it like a crankbait!

Hey Randy, Did you know John Hendricks? He had Luck "E" Strike in Caseville MO? He's my uncle. I remember hearing about you when I was young. I have a hat that you signed 30 years ago. Anyway, great channel. I learn alot from you. Much appreciated

Thank you so much for this! My friends gpaw was famous around here as a tournament angler. His signature fishing technique was a jigging eel. He passed away quite a few years ago, and I never got a chance to fish with him. I have combed the internet looking for info on jigging eel set ups/ technique with little to no success. I am sure this is it! He used to pour all his own jigs, and had tons of hand made soft plastic molds.

Randy here in Arizona we have clear water, like 20' deep see the bottom. In summer we fish a lot at night and throw the jig n worm on cliff walls, big boulders. Great night bait.

Interesting. I actually have never seen or heard this before, so I appreciate you sharing it. I've always fished them separately but I've also not used a worm that big. That style, but just smaller.

Truman is my home lake. Big worm for suspended fish is a summertime staple. I’ve used this technique, but it’s been awhile. Usually just throwing a plum or blue fleck 10 power worm. I’m going to try a jig/worm this weekend. Burning a large balsa crankbait through the timber can get a reaction bite as well. Also, a full sized jig with a full sized brush hog on the bottom is very good as well. Good tips. Prefer this type of video. 👍🏼

Seems you can put any trailer on a jig and it will work. The answer is, the majority of interest is generated on the fall. This worm attracts them on that fall.

I use a finesse version of this rig I learned from an old timer, 1/4 oz jig with a 4" finesse worm, he called it his mouse rig. I prefer a puff ball style jig and have gone down to 1/8" in a living rubber skirt and a 3" slug or weenie style worm Great video great info

Randy why does Bass allow FFS screens that are bigger than a desktop computer??- Also turned off by 1500 dollar rods with 600 dollar reels- the average working man who fishes weekends can't buy a 100 thou boat - towed by a 70 thou truck with 17thou of electronics- Bass is rapidly turning into golf- a rich man's hobby- You are going to lose your target audience- These Japanese Guys have big money backing them- I wonder if they were forced to go with9out electronics how well they would do- Sitting there fan casting hoping they are near fish like everyone else--
@squonto474 ай бұрын
“Japanese Guys”?? Last I checked there were 50 “American Guys” for every Japanese angler that are also backed. Trey McKinney and all the youngin’s are financed and have been for all of their fishing careers.
