This isn't anything new to experienced FPS players, but people tend to forget from time to time. Good reminder! You can always control vertical recoil. Horizontal recoil you can only fight against, and only to a certain extent.

I always used vertical grip on my nightraider like an idiot, but after testing the spread i instantly switched to the horizontal forever. I also personally think the nightraider is the best assault rifle in most vanilla maps. only 17.5% for 1 wear (unlike the maplestrike which has 20%) and can use both ranger and military ammo/attachments making it extremely useful if you run out of the other type of ammo
