@@EthanPineapple from and around 2016 Servers that offers vanlia Gameplay started to slowly become less and less popular, and thanks to KZbin, big part of people who later joined to play the game where only here for action instead of playing it as a survival game, like base raids and insane clips, and /kits and /tpa servers all of them made new players join us for the wrong reasons to play the game in a way its not intended, at least from vanlia standpoint, as for mods, they really do help alot keeping veterans and dedicated playerbase in the game for a very long time, heck the Escape from Unturnov made me get 300 extra hrs in the game without the vanlia (it's a mod based and heavily inspired by Escape From Tarkov), sadly some engines and game as well server limits, all did hold the mod from being really perfect don't get me wrong, there are still servers offers the vanilla experience that players from 2014-2016 misses alot but aren't popular or even friendly as they were before because they aren't really any benefits to play with the other random player on the street, killing them right now is the better benefit once you as a new player knows how to fight the zombies and know how to manage your inventory So for that reason of the game not being played they intended (in server that clearly seems like it's the way Nelson bulid up the game with those /kits and /tpa commands when it's nothing like what he bulid up this game for) and for the reasons of the game engine being pushed so far to it's limits and add more possibilities and opportunities for new awesome mods, that's why he is making Unturned 2 I am currently hoping that he would be able to find a way that KZbin videos and streaming doesn't effect the way the game is being played and he adds like a filter that would by default not show up thoese servers so the new player understands what's he is going to play on

10:28 I personally find flares to be very useful, even when I'm in late game. It's nice to throw a flare to either round up a bunch of zombies to easily kill or just have them out of a building for a bit so I can quickly loot it while being more safe.

The Leather Bottom is the best pants in the game as it has the same armor as the military counterparts but it has 3 extra slots of space. Ofc thief/cargo have more slots and Specs have more armor but I think leather is by all odds the best.

Military Fragmentation rounds can raid wood bases, and when you shoot the ground, the fragmentation draws the attention of zombies, it also does more damage the regular military ammo. Tracer is sometimes used for shooting people behind trees so your friends can see where you shooting, therefore seeing the guy behind the tree. Though, i don't know anybody who uses the tactic.

Morphine is actually pretty useful, I played on a server where there was leg breaking and it was kind of essential during the pvp. breaking your legs from falling off a building can be healed by morphine and you can heal some of the health lost with it. (Only useful if you play on a server with leg breaking)

Splint does the same thing and it costs 2 scrap metal and heals 10% while morphine heals 5%. So unless you cant acquire scrap metal or cant craft a splint then morphine is the way to go.

yeah me and my friends/randoms would use it while in fights at the airfield/military base on Russia, either to obscure the enemies vision by directly throwing it at them, hence forcing them either out of cover to see or to allow us to move, or just to create general chaos and obscure the very long sightlines that exist on the airstrip. It's a very useful tool when you've got little to no gear except a Snayperskya, military knife, and military bottoms.

The ghillie are actually useful for the grass plates, I once had a base next to paradise point on the mountains, i had like 30 of these plates collected in total and i masked a full metal base so good people were doing pvp with us next to it and they didn't notice it, although i recommend using these plates for a base only if your base is at the map border, and also make sure to use many layers at one side if you don't the plates will be useless.

On older versions of the game, the adrenaline was a viable option for running through the map, because restoring health, stamina, etc was gradually instead of instantly, making use of that to maintain the restore factor of the adrenaline while using it by running. (you could still use Energetic bar/bottles but they were also rare to find at the time)

They aren't as useless as I may have implied them to be. In truth they are weaker, awfully situational charges which require crafting III to obtain for some reason, and since it's only crafted using once demolition charge there is a risk of accidentally crafting it and being stuck with that item, as the recipe isn't reversible, but it was mainly on the list because I wanted an excuse to talk about the suppressor.

The thing with items which are only useful as-is early game is that when you are late-game enough to no longer need them, they still serve a purpose to you (e.g. being scrappable or used for crafting), whereas the adrenaline just takes up a spawn where something more useful like a vaccine could spawn instead.

I think the debuff should be nerfed a bit (because getting 5% damage is like getting fucking cold if we try to be realistic, and unturned has attempted being realistic) If i had to rework it, I'd boost the melee swing speed by 60%, movement speed by 20% (on foot), heavily reduced flinching, a medium increase in reload speed and slight heat boost (just to stop freezing for several seconds, due to increased heart beating) This i believe is a fair boost for what is known to 'revive' people.

@@SirAdyUnleashed yeah, but even in early game I just sprint past that bs and try to level up my extrasize asap, I think the majority of unturned players do that to, if he removed the radiation damage and/or just gave the player temporary infinite energy then I'd change my mind and it would actually be very valuable at any point of the game pretty much, let's say it was 10-15 seconds of infinite energy, that would give the player the upper-hand in PvP, either for escape or to chase someone down, or if you enter a deadzone or even fight off a boss, using an adrenaline beforehand would just make the fight/looting a peice of cake since you can keep on moving without taking breaks in between those valuable segments of gameplay.

in my 2400 hours in unturned i've only used the flashbang 2 times: the first one was in a server called sacrifice pvp, i was battling with my boys a wallhacker that didnt sucked at aiming, anyways we were shooting at him and he killed two of my three teammates and i was taking cover in a tree and i throwed a flashbang and he falled for it, with the white screen he couldnt see anything, not even the hack worked blinded and we took him down in that oportunity. and then we couldnt really do much since that was the only flashbang i had and dude putted a bed so he just /home and keep bothering. The last one we were online raiding a clan of six guys and the clan was inside a room wich had no door but they were aiming at the entrance, throwed a flashbang and killed all 6 of them with my boys, later on i found out they were people with 10 hours atleast. Kinda felt bad for our way to play we full tryhard mode and bro just tryng out the game. I dont really play anymore since 2021 but fun game and good memories.

Back when I played, explosive rounds were my favorite. There's this spot you can shoot on trees and they'll instantly fly off and break, leaving the person using it as cover exposed. Can't even begin to recall all the times this came handy.

Some of my uses for some of mentioned items civ NV - i use it quite often when i know people roam with mili NV, it's way easier to spot light osurces in civ NV and so player mili goggles shine from miles away Tracer rounds - Good for iniciating battle with cluless teammates as it helps them focus fire on where you fire Flashband - surprisingly still makes people panic Smoke grenades - a few of them thrown can actually shroud an area well enough for cover Adrenline - rarely used, but i found it o rarely help with long sniper battle retreats to give you that extra sprint time to dip. Furthermore it is a viable stamina generator after you died and your skills got reset if you need to hop right back into action

I would say that on Elver leather clothing are really useful as they give more slots than Police clothing. For example, Adventurer pants - 15 slots, Adventurer Jacket - 18 slots, Adventurer Ammovest - 25 clots. In early game hitting Few deers with car isn't hard, but gives nice advantage.

A bit of a use for the smoke grenade(situational of course) When you are for example in a city or location and some snipers are watching you. You can throw a ton of smokes randomly to distract them
