@uzaktaneyitimАй бұрын
Amen, Jabbari, and Tari. Houston has three power forwards who can compensate for each other's flaws. Believe it or not, Landale is currently the backup center with the best stats in the NBA, effectively relieving Şengün while he regains his energy on the bench. A shooting guard who excels at shooting will relieve the pressure on Jalen to take three-pointers, allowing him to focus on what he does best.
@YoREalDaddy23 күн бұрын
Amen Is a point-foward he can play pg-sf. Tari Eason is a Sf-pf. Smith and Jeff green are the only true pfs

You're right. I was wrong. Then I think Jeff and Jabari together are not good enough to meet the ambitions of the Rockets. I wonder what you think.
@YoREalDaddy23 күн бұрын
@@uzaktaneyitim i agree. but like you said, Amen and Tari are hybrids that can get it done in that spot because of today's postionless basketball. Like the Celtics, Jason Tatum is really a SF, but they play him at pf too

This Rockets team is very tricky. You might be better than them is some offensive stats but create matchups problems against most of their opponents. Hey are too athletic, fast and young. Not all teams can match their intensity over the course of a full game. And there is the "Terror Twins" Tari Eason+Amen Thompson. On of them can give nightmares to every team, now image both together at the same time, that's automatic chaos. Why both will be in the discussion for 6MOTY and All Defensive Team. I expect the Rockets end the season in the 5-7 seed and making the playoffs.

The Rockets were already on the right track with their draft picks. Ime Udoka, only a year removed from leading the Celtics to the Finals, was just the guy to lead them in the right direction. I wasn't sure about signing VanVleet, Brooks, and Landale (especially for the amount of money they received, respectively) at first, but they've all been positives for them. All of their players have looked (Jalen Green to a lesser degree) good to great so far, and it's fun to see their progression.

This Rockets team had and has talent but they would be a 6 to 8 seed without Udoka and the staff. I am a Celtics fan and I saw how the team played when they all accepted his swarming defense. Yeah the Celtics won the title withouth him but he brought the dog defense philosophy to Houston and made them a team, not a circus like they were before he came in. I like them, they are a fun team to watch and their stars can only get better. Alperen Şengün is a special talent and if they add one more star to help Green who is still raw in many aspects, they could be a real force.

The CP3, Westbrook and John Wall trades were all completely unnecessary. They wasted a ton value for a costar for Harden when they needed defense and floor spacers.

Robbed, not fumbled. There's a difference. Hey remember when warriors kept fouling Rockets to keep them from breaking another three point record. They even had Draymond Green commit flagrant foul on the Rockets. This was around 2013. Houston Rockets are the only team in history to lead the league in three attempts and made. While also winning the champ in the same season. No other team have done this even once. Rockets did it twice. 2018 was going to be only the third time in NBA history. "but but but they missed all those 3's in game 7". Cute, the "greatest of all time" warriors couldn't even win back to back at the time. Hey remember when spur fans claimed Bruce Bowen wasn't dirty. He injured other teams top stars multiple times doing this. Kinda ironic Zaza from the warriors used the Bruce Bowen move on Kawhi and injured him in 2017. Warriors resorted to doing the same in 2018 game 7. Some of those missed threes were straight up fouls. Keep in mind even with the difference in the roster and last resort Bruce Bowen moves. Warriors won by only 9 points. Sorry. Warriors are far from "the greatest of all time". With all due respect. Warriors have never won a champ without injuries to their opponents top two stars. This includes 2015, 2017, and 2018. Glass ankle curry couldn't even win FMVP until half the league was injured. Cute. Before KD warriors had no back to back and a 2016 choke job. When they called themselves the greatest. Ha. Guess they didn't believe in curry like they claimed. Kinda funny to see curry fans bash KD for his overrated ring. When curry shares the same overrated ring. They're trying to cut the finger to save the hand.
