I use my hydra more than my oppressor I just like being able to get places way faster than my friends and actually be able to land I don't grief with it but I usually win against lasers

Switching to hover mode mid dogfight throws off a lot of players. Great for when you're going up against other planes with better maneuverability.

If the Lazer and Hydra had a baby, you would get the Raiju. I really don't like that instead of improving the hydra, they just made an aircraft better than it in every way, I do love the hydra just like I do other things and I prefer this because it's a nice start with only 3-4 million and still a useful VTOL and I like it better in my opinion and with pegasus. It also has an insane VTOL speed glitch which makes it a TON better than the raiju, if you bought this, I suggest sticking with it unless you have enough for the F-160. Hydra wins for me

You can call pegasys and take one to your hangar and Make it a personal vehickle.. At that point we should be able to upgrade it other than just the paint job.

@BigPat_42 because when you're registered as ceo, it spawns right next to you.. the sparrow spaws farther off. The sparrow won't spawn if it's already on map w/o sending it back. The buzzard and sparrow have similar speed and weapons. If your flying to sub obviously sparrow can do that better

The Buzzard is a lot more useful than the Sparrow, and I have both but I find myself always using the Buzzard anyway. Smaller, have both a minigun and rockets, which some aerial hangar missions require one or the other, REALLY spawn next to you ANY time, and I can have more than one at the same time, so friends can use it as well The Sparrow is okay, but ridiculously overrated by You Tubers, and I prefer real usefulness than to go for the hype

This is clickbait. If you're in VTOL (Hover Mode) you might as well ask ground targets to take you out (take your pick, railgun, sniper with explosive ammo, RPG, even a homing missile or machine gun is an easy pick. The explosive cannons were nerfed too, so you can actually survive a ground attack on foot now. Then there's the fact that this has zero maneuvering capability so it's dead meat in a dogfight with anyone component enough to hold down left bumper and circle the Hydra. It easily loses to the Pyro, the Starling, the B-11, the Rogue, the Seabreeze, the Lazer and finally.... The Raiju Yes, Raiju is better in all the ways that count besides price and cannon. Even after the Hydra cannon nerf, the Raiju is slightly worse. But the Raiju maneuvers much better, has much better VTOL maneuverability and stopping power, is faster, it accelerates much faster, still easily takes down the Hydra with its cannons and, oh yeah, you can fly it in stealth mode. The element of surprise is a total gamechanger. If you can afford a hangar and a Hydra, save a few more million for the Raiju and you won't be disappointed, I get that this video came out before the Hydra, but there's so many better aircraft out there. Even if you want it for the VTOL, the Raiju is better at it.

So, you didn't say anything useful at all. Not about the speed glitch, which allows you to overtake rockets and EVEN an orbital cannon. Not about the terrible durability, because of which even one hit from a railgun will kill you instantly. Not about the worst maneuverability, which is why literally any armed plane can defeat hydra, if you don't know any special hover/backward flying maneuvers that are difficult to perform.

Sounds like a skill issue to me. Anyone in 2023 who owns a hydra should know basic vtol maneuvers smh. Speed glitch is basic knowledge and it can take 1 railgun round and still make it back to the hangar before it explodes whether u have the lsia hangar or military base. The secret to using it is to not fly low

in what qualities? 'cause it's slower, and has no hover mode. Also, as far as I know, they have the same weapons/weapon upgrades available. The Lazer does look somewhat better though, that I'll give you. The hydra, as awesome as it's features are, looks ugly as hell. (Other than being free, off the military base, and looks as I mentoined above, what does the lazer have over the hydra?)

​@@Wortigon2000true you can never out maneuver a hydra in other jets due to the vtol mode depending on their skill level. You can literally do a 180 in the hydra. If anyone is on your tail just go vtol and descend a little and exit vtol as they pass and boom. Works 99 percent of the time.

I prefer the hydra unless you are trying to dogfight and grief people. PVE in the hydra is actually possible whereas PVE with the Laser is basically pointless.

@@elvpse one of the 3 planes that has decent liveries. That said, shapewise, that's also pretty mediocre at best. As for the 3 planes I mentioned: #1.: Raiju - 2 prb liveries. #2.: Volatol - 1 prb livery. #3.: B-11 strikeforce - shark face liveries for the front.
