This is a stupid comment. For example, let’s say that this artist has one thousand fans and one of them is a Nicki hater. How would that one hating person change the trajectory of the artist sales? It won’t because you need more than one thousand people. Pure stupidity. Just admit you wanted to type a likable comment to appeal to others. Get off her nuts.

He didn’t touch on why 1. Nicki doesn’t participate in the industry 2. her being blackballed by radio 3. record labels paying other artists to diss her 4. paying DJ’s getting paid to not play her music 5. Billboard changing over 7 different rules just because of Nicki 6. The industry and media sabotage she regularly faced when the hate train started 7. The many calculated pushes to end her career and bring another female in her place etc…

Raising her voice did do something tho. I know people think ALL of the barbz are brainless and jus ready to attack, but some of the fans came DURING the hate train because we understood Nicki. Nicki has said she’d rather be understood than simply liked. I understand tf out of nicki and that’s one of the reasons I like her, but when I was younger I would hear her say “all these bitches is my sons” and be like ‘ugh why she always gotta talk about sons?’ but it’s because they genuinely were trying to recreate her success with 360 deal rappers for years! Her raps are very telling.

This is what WE do to our black legends . We disrespect and make mockeries out of them . Y’all did the same thing to Whitney Houston. Her being on drugs and a “crackhead” was apparently funny. Wendy Williams had a mental breakdown and y’all called it karma. She’s a radio pioneer and paved the way for all of these black radio shows and podcasts to have a platform. Y’all TRIED to do the same thing to Nicki but failed miserably.

Wendy is where she is because of her. She wasn't the first and only black radio host. She did a lot of wrong to a lot of people. But you're right every black person that blow up, black people look down on them. And judge them.

And it’s only us one that do this shit. You don’t ever see Beck Beck and Brad doing that to Barbra Walters, Elvis Presley, Janis Joplin, and Taylor Swift. Even though 2 of them are KNOWN drug addicts and Elvis is a factual pedo. It’s only black folks who leave there celebs out to dry and quick to criticize. Making a mockery of them 24/7 and never taking anything seriously.

What people keep overlooking about Nicki’s career is that she somewhat HAS to continue to “bicker” back & forth with the other rap girls a lil bit to keep up with the appearance of her with her ears to the streets. Because otherwise, what would she rap about, being pretty & wealthy? I see nothing majorly wrong with her rants sometimes or her picking at the other rap girls. That’s her muse in a way. But she definitely should NOT take the Bey & Rhi Rhi routes & stay quiet, then she’d be seen as “scary.” But Nicki’s definitely one of the G.O.A.T.’s.

Show me where that has actually worked out every time. Not everyone wins in the crew, that blue print is maxed. J said and is doing it best with bey, snoop, fifty etc being you and doing you is the best way to assist anyone you inspire. Because you did, of course they can. To suggest her direct plug is required, diminishes the power of the inspired and the magic (synergy) in a moment. Best to demo how to move and be a testament to a set a choices and outcomes.

criticising nicki for "not co-signing many female MC's" is ridiculous and baffles me why people expect this from her. if thats the case then we should be having the same conversation for Beyonce, Rhi, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga..(all active during her era) in fact the only artist that collabs with other females WAS NICKI. she literally has done the most female collabs ut of any current a-list artist in almost every genre except country she has remix and blew up so many male/female's that she geniunely vibed/saw potential in that were win/win business moves and there isnt a single female rapper out currently in the top teir level that HASNT had their career boosted from a nicki co-sign (cardi, meg, doja literally all went on to chart/industry success after nicki did a feat for them each)
