One of the things people also don't realize about the 4G63, is that it's an incredibly old engine Mitsubishi had been using for 26 years back in 2007. This is an engine they designed and built for Group 4 rally and then beefed up over the years. There's no doubt they decided they can make a better lighter engine for the Lancer Evolution X

I am in my 50s. I am a collector of Hondas. Eg6, ek9, dc5r...and one day...I purchased a 2008 lancer EX ( CVT) as a daily...and driving it was great...lt felt solid, stable and the thought occured to me that I should try the Evo X. As luck would have it, I snagged a Evo X Final Edition with a heavy discount from the dealer. And I started selling all my Hondas in my collection. Omg, the driving of an Evo X is indescribable. It goes where you point it to...Since JDM Masters revealed that the AWD system runs using Canbus, I am beginning to appreciate the Evo X's instantaneous response ...and understand now why the Evo X's exceptional handling is so underrated.

Great car. I've owned the Evolution, Evo II, Evo V, and Evo X. The X is by far the best feel, engine, handling, and aesthetics. I hear arguments from guys who have never owned an Evo or owned or driven only one model. Their argument is quite weak. I currently have Vs and Xs. I also have the X Final Concept if you're interested in doing a story on it. Surprisingly no one really knows about the Final Concept. Then again, it's a one-of-one.

05:24 Funny you say that because against most conventions the 10th generation base model Honda Civic was developed around their Type R performance model in mind first, and then adapted into the Civic Si and base. At least, that’s what a couple promotional marketing materials and interviews seemed to indicate during the 10th generation’s launch.

I have a 2012 GT, and yes, built like a tank. The trunk area behind the back sets is really the look of sturdy. About three years ago, I hit a curb that jutted out in the middle of the road for no good reason and my car hit it at approximately 45MPH, going airborne in the process. As far as we've been able to determine, all the damage I got was a slightly warped wheel. I'm still running everything stock, so I haven't replaced the shock absorbers, springs, etc. Frame is in tip-top condition.
