Core power says base Armor becomes 0, i believe since its only the base armor of the mech that if you had other armor sources they would be retained.

Lycan is a mech I WISH we had more art Like, I wanna see how he is with armor and fully without I wanna see a normal Drake becoming a Lycan and enemies starting to pass out

Honestly, Lycan feels really nice to use. Played a one off with it - and the berserker style is genuinely really good! It pairs well with Lich, given that the destruction doesn't count resurrections to undo the clause like most people might think.

Put a threat 3 shotgun on it and get a free attack when enemies move away.

Ideas for new LANCER content. What if you reviewed some of the NPC frames? But differently, gear more towards . . . "When would you use this NPC as a GM/ what maps and other NPCs do they synergize with?"

As someone who has only been able to engage with Lancer from a theoretical standpoint, there is something that throws me off about the Lycan and that's the fact that while its Speed goes way up when going loud, its Evasion does not. So when you switch out of tank and into melee berserk mode, you not only now have to deal with the fact that you'll end up in more situations where it is easy and worthwhile for enemies to target you and will be more vulnerable hits you do take, but with a base Evasion of a mere 6, which is normally reserved for all those tanky mechs, you also are also practically guaranteed to actually be hit. I don't know how this works out in praxis, but in theory a loud Lycan seems like it wouldn't actually get much use out of its shock claws unless it goes on opportunistic flanking attacks against near isolated targets, which really doesn't feel like the rushdown berserker it is thematically meant to be. What am I missing for that to not seem to be all that much of an issue for the active playerbase in praxis?

take 3 levels of Tokugawa for Lucifer and resistance to heat. Striker brainrot, grab nuke cav and toss a heavy melee weapon in your hand. Max out at 10 heat with Luci and turn elites/ultras to slag.

Id love to hear your opinioʻlns on the zheng, but thats largely because im making a ipsn brawler in my current campaign That said, cover what interests you, I hadnt even registered the lycan existing before now
