I am in China and looking for a new iPad. My old one is iPad Air 3 which is not doing well enough even for daily entertainment for me. And I found a refurbished one for about 1000 USD: 12.9 inch M1 2TB with 5G, and I think it's very good for me to buy it before stepping into university as a freshman. Thank you for your video and information about the M1 in 2024. I wish you do well in the future XD

@@MicahTek Not included, so it’s not that cheap. But I think it’s still worth for me. I don’t play games and I’m not a professional editor or designer, the M1 and M4 seem no different to me. An M4 256GB 13 inch WiFi configuration is about 1250 USD with education savings, but no 5G support, and only 8GB RAM. However, the M1 I mentioned is 16GB+2TB with 5G(important for me to use in my university because of high network fee and slow WiFi speed due to the fact that it’s a old campus. Thank you for your patience to read my comment LOL. It’s probably not cheap, but I think M1 2TB 5G to M4 256GB WiFi is a downgrade.

@@user-pf2og7ty2u I don’t know if you saw but due to the limitations of my iPad I had to switch to a Mac mini. Wasent my first choice. If I could have I would have gotten an m1 or m2 in a similar configuration. Until iPadOS upgrades I don’t see the point in the newest device. It also pissed me off that you had to spend $400 more dollars to get the keyboard and pencil

I don’t have a ton of experience with animations software. Here is a potential idea. What if you bought a 1TB iPad Pro so you get the 16GB of ram ? You could get M1 or M2 and save almost a thousand dollars. I will say if your willing to shell out the money there’s nothing wrong with upgrading to the m4 but if your trying to be budget conscious id consider the M1 or M2
