I read that it was Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's dream to expand Hindu swaraj "from the river Indus to territory far far beyond the Bengal suba". I think the book was called " the Foreign biogaraghies of Shivaji".

Yes Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's Dream was to establish Hindavi Swarajya Hindavi - Indian/Indic Swarajya - Self rule Bcz all Afghan(Sur and shahis), Turkic(Mughals), Uzbek(Mughals), Persian emperors had no interest in public welfare , their only aim was to rule the land , increase revenue and religion That's why people belonging to all castes and occupation , supported Shivaji Maharaj and were ready to give their lives for him That was the reason Aurangzeb couldn't conquer Deccan even though he had brought approx 8 lakh army to Deccan and Marathas has no king then for almost 27 years But people gave tough fight and Aurangzeb 's dream remained as a dream and Hindavi Swarajya was later established

An empire which endured Chatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj's murder by Mughals and loss in Panipat, came back with greater determination and vengeance time and time again. Took on Mughals, Portugese, Siddis, Adil Shahi Empire, Durranis and Britishers. Fulfilled Shivaji Maharaj's dream of having 'Swaraj' from Attock to Cuttack. A race of fierce, skilled warriors and able administrators, who, if not be undone by their own internal politics, would have ruled for at least 200-250 years. Still, their achievements cannot and must not be overlooked and should be given greater importance on our history books.

No one ever dared to even challenge or oppose the mughal empire but marathas not only opposed but crushed mughal empire and thrown out from india It was chattrapati shivaji maharaj who challenged mughals,adilshahi,siddis of janjira ,british , Portuguese,dutch ,french and many more powers at the same time Chattrapati shivaji maharaj and his brave maavle prooved to whole world that numbers does not matter every time

if maratha did not.war in bengal and other india then?.are you see current bihar and benga arel in Indian Map.. Answer is No.Never? Maratha know the foresight of muslim crowded area.Maratha inavded in indian parts but finished invaders of indian culture.. . becouse these 400000 bengali killed population maximum were Muslim and if they not killed and survived then count how much 400000 muslim population till the time of indian independence means time of India Pakistan partition same population increased 2 to 3 or 4 to 5 fold muslim population 4 to 5 crore Muslim population at the time of partition means absulaltly bihar and bengal become part of Pakistan current Bangladesh due to muslim crowded area. .it was not brutality it was trying to save defend india and indain culture/philosophy movement .. due to Maratha Wars happened in west bengal and bihar currently they are under indian Map it is fact other states also on same thing happened... you see wherever maratha where not reached what is the current situation in that place or states today..i.e. west Bengal, North east india,Sindh, Pakistan occupaied Panjab,J&K,Kerala are the example ..see how many hindu saved in this place or state current day and wherever Maratha Fought and Maratha Control Empire.. every one see the difference...every comunist/muslim radical/and Maratha defamer philosopher were tried to spreading wrong history in their Book..True and Maratha Contribution to Save nation is really great but every one trying to keep india under mental slavery and trying to create hate in their own freedom fighter and Warrior..now days are changed and people are thinking with correct way rather than communist and radical epic and books hate spreader thoughts....Jay Hind.

Durrani captured Amritsar and golden temple took it as hostage, on the request of jassa singh Raghunath ji came with the marathas force ofcouse sikh and Marathas fought together to regain Golden temple and get it clean from durranis, Raghunath ji also gave donation of 2.5 lakhs for it's reinnovation, kindly tell your leader that it's not you who saved Hindus it's hindus who supported you in 1758 and during the time of Ranjit singh also the dogra and Hari singh ji
