Marvel vs Capcom 2 is the best fighting game ever. You had to be in the arcade to understand. Proton cannons and drill claws, were the ultimate combo for me. SF4 is certainly up there too. Great video.

I was expecting a release date for the collection at EVO, but still waiting... I got to try it at the Capcom booth and playing MVC2 again just puts me into automatic HYPE mode. And yes I won with Megaman, Tron Bonne, and Servbot. Landed 4 lunchlines. Heheheheheh

Fun thing is that there's two Proto Versus games via secret characters. Akuma was in X Men Children of the Atom, although with more Street Fighter II styled sprites. As was Anita from Darkstalkers in Marvel Super Heroes. And it's in the collection.

One thing you should've talked about though is X-Men Children of the Atom. I believe that was the first game in this series. I've played it and it's suprisingly very fun and well polished. Probably my 2nd favorite in the franchise, actually.

I honestly bought this because you rarely can play old video game types I love this deal and yes it is kinda spendy but I think it’s a great deal because all of these games are classics !! One slight correction. The original release of UMvC3 (360 and ps3) did not include Jill and Shuma. However in the 2017 rerelease (xbox one, ps4, and steam) both Jill and Shuma were included.
