The original Daredevil show is amazing. Its good they are trying to bring him back but I just hope they do it right. I agree with alot of the points you give about the lighting and the cinematography. Also I like the morel debates that come from this show. My favourite episode from the Daredevil show is the episode where the Punisher showed up it is so well made. Watched the She Hulk episode where Daredevil shows up it did not compete ruin him at least for me but it was not written well at all, it was kind of like a joke version of Daredevil. Nice video

So marvel is planning on doing an adaptation of devils reign starting with daredevil born again. I wouldn’t say that daredevil was ruined but rather just not handled as best as possible. I believe that characters can work in a variety of settings as long as the writing is good and remains true to the character. So daredevil imo can work in lighter toned settings it’s just that the writing needs to maintain who he is, and a superhero law sitcom isn’t the best choice.

@tyler ben When it comes to what counts as make or break I am. I don't know If Disney Marvel I'd going to toss their own recipe for the show formerly run on Netflix or not but Bernthal signing on means that not all hope is lost not yet anyway

Disney Marvel would be m0r0n$ to throw away the recipe of the show they themselves created when it was formerly run on Netflix but imbecility is the biggest trend in Hollyweird nowadays. But there some canary in the coal mine signs that not all is lost Bernthal said that he wouldn't return unless the character was properly honored so without assurances he wouldn't be back. Still the absence of Foggy Nelson on the other hand is a huge red flag as making a Daredevil TV show or movie without Foggy Nelson is as stupid as making a Knight Rider movie without the car or a Lone Ranger movie without his horse Silver. And the fact that both Cox and Donofrio were pining hard for Deborah to return as Karen Page is another sign that not all is lost. The battle to save Daredevil is not over until we get all the actors if humanly possible back and the tone isn't changed.
