People keep saying "Batman with prep time can make an anti Spider-Man device” forgetting how smart Peter is

The only reason batman has contingency plans is cause he cant trust people. no one in justice league is that crazy to plans to take down there friend. Like its absurd. How would you feel if uou friend had a plan to kill you.

Batman with Prep-Time here is him getting a Symbiote specifically for fighting Spiderman. Primarily the Venom Symbiote. This comes after monitoring the spider for months and discovering the existence of the Spider-Sense via witnessing ambushes against the Spider, and noticing that he dodges bullets and explosions he has no realistic way to even know are coming... then noticing that a Venom or Carnage host is the only type of opponent who could actually land a hit on Spidey without being a lot faster than the spider or getting him in a position where he'd rather take the hit than dodge, or outnumbering him with supers that can strike from multiple directions and combat in multiple domains (Vulture + Electro + Rhino + Doc Oc + Sandman + Kingpin or a Goblin). So he tracks down Venom, and eventually separates the current host from the symbiote, then tries to keep him contained and fed, only taking the creature out to become the host so he can fight Spidey. A prepped battlefield is a deathtrap, lots of bombs all over so that Spidey has as many alarms blaring in his head as possible and doesn't know where to dodge too. Another option is Fear Gas in an attempt to overwhelm the Spider-Sense temporarily so he can get some hits in and slow the spider down. Spider-Man with prep time equally terrifying, if not scarier. But he's broke and likely wouldn't initiate the fight, and also isn't able to truly prep a battlefield like Bats could with his money. Spidey with prep time here would probably be some suit upgrades, primarily to aid in visibility in dark environments and maybe some training so he can lay down a bunch of webs and use their vibrations to find out where somebody is, and likely some minor armor like some versions of his stealth suits or the suit he made to fight Doc Oc in Insomniac Spider-Man 1. Both of these things are them prepping to counter eachother, thinking they'd be the fight initiator. Batman is a non-powered guy, Venom is him countering Spideys powers with his own. From there his gadgets and strategies (plus Venom shapeshifting and Spider Power emulation) put him on a positive footing. Spidey's prep is mainly dealing with Batman hunting him from the dark, from there his gadgets and powers put him on a positive footing. If both had prep, it would be one hell of a fight, and I don't know who would win.

spiderman is not smarter than batman, if batman has preptime, even if spiderman has prep time, spiderman will still lose, only way spiderman wins is if he instantly blitz batman with no time to waste and no time for him to prep, because if batman has prep time, batman wins no diff, batman with prep time is 6th dimensional plus, minmium. spider sense can't even protect him from a attack from prep time batman. altho to be fair, the flash would always appear whenever batman is close to death, so even without all that, he would still win....

I don’t think spider senses would work, because hasn’t all the bat family gotten past senses easily

I actually prefered this run as a child over the stan lee steve ditko run. I still love the original 60s run but its a lil dated. I actually think the original run was a good foundation but later writers improved on it.

I think batman would win. In a "realistic" battle, the first meeting would have both heroes holding back, with neither wanting to hurt the other seriously, especially spidey. That being said, spidey would outclass batman, but batman would retreat using smoke bombs or whatever other bat bs he's got. And yes he would escape spidey. He regularly sneaks away from superman. He'd spend the next few days and nights studying spiderman and seeing his weaknesses and coming up with a plan. Then batman would come back and ambush him and incapacitate him. Spidey is regularly shown to be easily distracted, and has been ambushed by many of his rogues and incapacitated. In a stragith up fight 8/10 times spidey would win. But in a comic accurate depiction of both I think batman would have the edge

Its a myth Batman needs prep time. He is allready prepared thats his thing. Having no prep or familiarity is a plus for Bruce not Peter. Peters skills are quickly analysible as they are obvious, Bruces arnt and that would be fatal for Peter against Batman. Peter has one chance and thats to go hard enough to knock Bruce out fitst hit but that wont happen as thats not Peter. Batman is like a walking battle computer. Your analysed then neautralised. Its a bit narrowminded to think Batman hasnt fought faster/stronger opponents before. A lot of his opponents are this and Peter would go down just the same. There are very simple incapacitating methods that Peter isnt imumune to. If this was two naked guys fighting 😂 Peter would win but it isnt. If this was a crazed killing machine Peter he would win but it isnt. If, If, ifs dont matter and if you start adding ifs into the argument that gives Bruce much more of an advantage not Peter. Peter has to be something hes not to win this and Bruce doesnt. TBH i dont think this is a particulary difficut fight for Bruce. Peter has a narrow window then hes done. It wouldnt be a slug fest, Peters ability for mobility would be quickly neautralised, His web slingers arnt even a threat, even a weakness as he is heavily relient on them for his ranged mobility and offence. Peter is actually more deadly close up but that is where he is actually in trouble with Batman not from hand to hand but the neautralising counter measure.
