(Scotland, GB here) This film is based on the same unit my grandad was in, in WW2. I wanted to take my dad to see it at the local cinema. I've seen an illegal copy of the film, it's not totally historically accurate, but definately enough to enjoy and give you an insight at what they got up to. It should be in British cinemas. I may be biased. lol

I'm in Australia it's not coming here either. The cast is wild.. it's an amazing looking movie we are looking forward to seeing it in the theater. OMG IM GUTTED 💔💔💔 This was a Movie designed for the big screen with surround sound and the atmosphere of the cinema I haven't really wanted to go to the movies since The big C but we were all geared up for this one. I have Amzon Prime but this is a sucky move from the ballbags that made this decision 😫

I wanted to watch this movie in the cinema, I was happy to pay. But even though I am an Amazon Prime member, I'll not be watching this via their service. As soon as it is released on AP to stream, it'll be available elsewhere to watch ... and I'll chose that option. I don't want give Amazon my "click footprint" on it.

Now that we’re past the pandemic I really must ask, what is the point of studios rushing to get movies onto streaming? We’re not in lockdown anymore people, there’s no need for that now, movies are releasing in theaters again and everything is back to normal, doing it now just makes you seem like you enjoy burning money, so again I really gotta ask, why are we still doing it?

The cinema experience for me is ruined. Due to having TV commercials, too many movie trailers. I wait for most of the movies that I am looking forward to coming out on 4K BluRay. Then I can enjoy them for way less money and I can watch it the way I like to watch.

It seems like the movie was missing a major studio needed to give it worldwide theatre distribution, hence direct to video…..seems like Lionsgate screwed up……perhaps because they didn’t want to spend the necessary marketing dollars.

I was excited to see this movie, but when I can't watch it in theaters I generally do not watch movies streaming. It sucks that it only on prime. I would have watched roadhouse in theaters opening weekend if it was released in theaters. I still haven't watch it.

UK here. I travel a lot for work so don’t ever use streaming services anymore. I can make an evening of going to the cinema, but I’m not gonna watch a blockbuster on my iPad in my hotel room. Really bad decision from Amazon as I probably won’t watch this now for months after it’s released

Cruella *was* theatrically released, however it got a simultaneous Disney Plus release. Now idk if it was put only on D+ in some markets, but overall it did get a wide theatrical release and, while it failed to break even, it made a bit more than its production budget. Ultimately though, many agree its D+ availability hurt its box office (plus it was one of the first major films to get a wide theatrical release since the pandemic began). As for Mulan, unless they had decided to delay for another year, it never stood a chance
