Why The Mirage In 2024?

I actually REALLY fly on the mirage. I own a lot of samplers and I agree it's "alive". It's also a real synth in my opinion. The 8 bit wave samples in combination with the filters, is really, really beautiful.

Not suggesting you should get one, but if you're a lo-fi sampling fan, make sure you get to experience a Fairlight CMI. Try to find a studio that has one. It's like a Mirage on crack.

The asr10 has great filters. The mirage was definitely an underated piece of kit. I have an old akai for some of these purposes. Ensoniq was ahead of it's time and I say this with dull understanding of the overuse of "ahead of it's time". Do some videos on envelopes amd filters. Subscribed just now.
