I like how you showed video of Jabari's first meeting against Giannis, followed by the next time they met. That was night and day. I'm huge on the core of these guys. I think any one of Jabari, Jalen or Sengun can end up being the best of them. That doesn't even account for what Amen may turn out to be.

One of the low key best things they did was downsize their roster. For all the good draft picks they had they also had a bunch of guys who were decent but you didn’t want them around to take mins away from other guys. Josh Christopher Garuba Ty ty They may be good elsewhere but I’m not giving Christopher mins over Eason. I’m also not giving ty ty mins over amen And who knows where garuba fits in. The only real question mark was Martin. But again when you’re bringing in whitmore and you already have Eason I rather give mins to them. They both have more upside and they are on rookie contracts longer. When you downsize you’re extra guys you’re telling your top 8 guys that you value them as apart of their foundation and that goes a long way. Was the value great on those trades. No but it got them out of the building

Amen can do WAY more things than the one dimensional Green and will easily better in 2 to 3 years. Green isn’t even on the top 50 best players in the league list after 2 years and Evan Mobley is 20th. The only reason Green is going to get much better is because Amen will be passing him the ball now instead of that shooting guard KPJ. I don’t know what it is with this Green love affair. We screwed up by not taking Mobley and I predicted this well before their draft because all the idiot fans only like offense. We sure could use Mobley’s defense now against Wemby. We have no good defensive center on the team to battle Wemby now because the fans only wanted the one dimensional Green who has absolutely no defense. Amen has both and both really good.

Going forward, Im more terrified of Rafael Stone because of his high turnovers on draft picks which spooks the hell outta me. The fact we got hardly nothing back on: KJ/Garube/J.Chris/TyTy, got alarm bells going off! That sets a dangerous precedent where teams will feel embolden to FLEECE Stone in every Rockets trade, going forward. He giving away players like christmas gifts. Thats one thing, and the fact Stone had to literally pay teams to take our young draft picks is an INDICTMENT against Stone that he doesnt know how to pick good talented players. Anybody knows how to pick the top talent because they already ranked. So guys like J.Green/J.Smith/Amen/Cam.....any teams would have taken them in the top 5 with Cam being an exception because of a terrible rumors which he proving his doubters, wrong. But Stone gotta do better. He's doing this on purpose where he's picking talent thats mediocre compared to guys available. Like for instance...Im not a fan of Sengun, and at the 16th pick, Stone should have selected Trey Murphy! He has blossomed into a reliable shooter that fits our personnel. Now, we out here signing Jock Landale after we tried to trade for Nic Claxton a year ago because Sengun have high shortcomings. And Stone put the Rockets in that avoidable situation. And another international talent in Garube whom was nowhere near ready for the NBA. Why did Stone feel a need to draft an Euro-League-er than American players more ready for the NBA? That sht is worrisome about Stone. And Tyty....smh. He's a bad pick, simple as that. And trading KJ for basically nothing. And giving two-way contracts to fat boys like Trevor Hudgins ---- what does Stone see in Hudgins to hold on to him?? He is not a good talent. Just like Nix, a bad pick-up. Stone is terrible picking talent outside the top 5. He need to be stopped if we dont have a high draft pick. Id say, if land a pick from 10 to 60, let Ime and his Coaching staffs do the picking and keep Stone OUT OF IT.

@@lucamennella3270 Tari is too selfish and get wild at times. I would have kept KJ, instead. And Whitmore is a top-5 pick so, it was a no-brainer to take him when he fell to us at the 20th pick. Im talking about the drafts outside the lottery picks. Thats where Stone get exposed. Like I said, its easy to pick the top 5 talent....you think its hard but its not. If you had the #1 pick, how hard would it be to pick between Wemby/Miller/Scoot? Either one is a winner. If you had the 3rd pick, how hard is it to pick between B. Miller and A. Thompson? So, it aint hard at all. Where it takes skills, is when you drafting outside of the lottery picks. And thats where Stone get exposed because alot of picks outsude the lottery are looking like busts: - J.Chris - TyTy - U. Garube And Sengun and Tari have serious flaws. They're not steals like you stated. They have flaws. If they didn't, we wouldnt be looking at more big men and giving them a fair chance to be the starting Center. Thats shows doubts in Alpi. Stone has his weakness, though. He doesnt know to pick good talent. He also pick garabge like: - Trevor Hudgins - Darius Days - Jae'Sean Tate - Nix Daishen A bunch of chubby boys with no athleticism outside of Tate.

@@MichaelJordann23 Green very likely won’t get enough shots to average 25+ already he isn’t that good yet and Fred VanVleet doesn’t instantly improve him to being an All-Star level player. And higher ceiling? Definitely not higher then Barnes he’s 6’8 230lbs 7’2 wingspan and 39.5” vertical, good speed, high level defense, and high level passing. Green has great athleticism but he’s only 6’4 186lbs 6’7 1/2 wingspan and likely won’t ever be a terrific defender or playmaker he doesn’t have size, length and natural instincts to be a great defender. His ceiling is like healthy Zach LaVine at his peak and Barnes ceiling is more like Scottie Pippen perhaps more passing. And Franz is 6’9 and can be a lethal offensive player already and is a good defender. His frame along with that makes his ceiling at least close to whatever Green’s theoretical ceiling is. News flash though a high vertical jump and ability to get up shots doesn’t make a guys ceiling MVP level like so many casuals assume no offense. Too many cooks in the kitchen? Can anyone explain to me how this roster is going to work? Everyone talks about OKC, but it's the rockets that have the best young players in the league. Never having been a Rockets fan it took me a while to realize how amazing their roster really is. But there is a problem, although it's a good one to have. While the rest of the NBA is desprately looking for good young wings/forwards, the rockets are absolutely overloaded. They are thin at the point and at center (I do love Sagun and Van Vleet), but over-loaded between the 1 and 5. They have Green, Porter, Eason, Whitmore and Smith who all need slot of miniuts at this young point in their career. So how do you play Jeff Green, Tate and Brooks who all have a case to be starters, without hammering their development? I initially thought that Dylan brooks was a great signing, he will actually become the biggest impediment to the development of these young guys. Brooks Smith, VanVleet, Green and Sagan all will get 35 plus minutes per night. So think about the minutes the rest of these guys will be getting. Can I have any the mentioned Thompson who I believe is a more of a small forward than a guard. If he can actually play point it will do this team a huge favor. Any which way you figure it you're gonna get some Amazing talent that will get buried on the bench. In my opinion Whitmore for someone like Al horford to play backup center. It will all sort itself out I guess, this is probably the best problem a team could have anyway.

. They are super lucky to have Ime Udoka. Boston was crazy to let him go, I don't care what he did. Then they put this little kid in there as a freaking idiot. They almost lost In the semifinals with a better team than udoka had in the finals. Defense is Udoka's thing. You might see jaylen green come off the bench because they're so bad defensively. Cause he could go with a lineup like 1)VanVleet 2)Thomson 3)Brooks 4) Smith 5)Sagun Indeed I have a good defensive starting five which houston hasn't had and forever. He can even go big and drop Brooks to the two and play whitmore at the three. He likes those big lineups. He played horford and Williams together. Who are both really centers in boston. They're new coach abandond the double bigs in order to shoot more threes. The defense became very Tourists and look what happened to them. They almost lost in the second round. And that's insane because whether you liked them or not. They had the best roster in basketball last season. But I see You doka trading scoring for defense Which might be a problem for guys like green and porter. They killed it in the draft the last 2 years though. I think Smith was the best pick in last year's draft. Orlando let Paolo Banchero Be the main focus of the offense period but in Houston, green was that guy. This season smith is going to show everyone that He should have been the number one pick. You got insanely lucky that OKC Grabed s big skinny twig.(Chet H.) And let houston get the best talent in that draft. With Udoka, this roster is going to be the best roster in the league in 2 to 3 years. I can't believe Whitmore slid down so far in the draft. By January you will recognize how misguided your assessment of Amen Thompson was. Cam is good and I like him a lot but Amen is a different animal altogether. He might be the best player in this draft including Wemby. Nuff said!

I’m not on board with this one unfortunately, if there’s a young talented team to say “you should be scared of them” it’s the Thunder or Magic, both teams have incredible futures they out together through the draft and trades, but maybe I’m wrong and the rockets will be pretty good🤷‍♂️

@@enchiridion829 I don't really care about what he's "known to be". Watch him play and make your own observations. He has high intelligence, looks to set others up, he's just about the fastest person on the court at any given time, he can finish lay-ups and floaters with ease, excellent handles, smart shot selection, impressive jumping ability, hard worker. His mid-range and long-range is only going to get better. He'll be our best asset in a couple years

I can see jalen being the odd man out and they build around amen bari tari sengun and cam. Jalen super inefficient.

You can’t look at efficiency yet. He was young and Silas was trash. He basically told a 19 year old im giving you 36 minutes go try and score the ball. I think with udoka and some better passers on the team his shots will come easier and bring it up like 3 or 4%

@nolimit4484 that's a fair take same way jabari will leap under new coach. I just feel it's about $$$ and not about winning for him. So let's see.
