Corax got illusion powers. His original powers are being unseen by misdirecting others sight and he can see through the emperors glamours. He’s the master of illusion using a demon vision to frighten his foes, not a literal daemon. If anyone gets a weredaemon form it will be Russ, his legion naturally mutates into wolves it’s his power manifesting in their geneseed. Corax’s sons only mutated because of the alpha legion. Even Lorgar said he was not a daemon just looking like one.

Too bad he's committed to his personal mission of killing Lorgar to leave the warp as of recently. If Lorgar ever leaves the Warp and enters real space than we would have a chance of Corvus coming back because he would likely chase after him, giving the other chapters or even his own legion a chance to run into him.

@@WubzZz- there's rumblings of wordbearers gathering doing random little things across real space. I think that's them setting up Lorgar's return and Corvus. IMO either Corvus or the Khan are the next primarchs to come back. Khan would be the easiest to justify. I think khan probably comes back beginning of 11th to fight Fulgrim (who is rumored to be on the way soon, before end of 10th). After that, it's most likely Lorgar and Corvus as they're kinda doing the 1 demon primarch/1 loyalist.

What I love about the Raven Guard is they’re like the special forces of the Astartes, tactics wise. They’re not sneaky in a “ninja/kill you unheard” way, they’re sneaky in infiltrating a base and when in a position to strike, boom, launch the attack and unload hell and firepower onto a vulnerable target. Or even “retreating” or creating distractions only to lead the enemy into an ambush with devastators and assault squads raining down hell. I trained with the 75th Ranger regiment for a time in the infantry and it makes me think of that everytime I read about the Guard.

My custom chapter I created is Raven Guard and Space Wolf inspired bc I love both legions the most. Basically they are a space wolf successor chapter that lost 2/3rds of their legion while trying to hold off a surprise attack by massive Ork WAAAAAGH! only being saved when the Raven Guard showed up to help win the day. The chapter swore an honor oath to be there if the Raven Guard or one of their successor chapters ever need them. To honor them further they paint the torsos of the armor and helmets of their Phobos and jetpack units black. I call them the Omen Chasers Chapter.

I play Raven guard and I honestly think they really are underrated. They have some of the best traits of every other Legion. They have a cool berserker mode like blood Angels, they will stay back and fight for the oppressed of humanity like a salamander, they are rational and level-headed and they have some of the coolest bits of Lore about them. The best part about them is that they are very humble and they do not adorn themselves with their own victories in heraldry. It's cool to be the only Raven guard player in my area

Scary thought: the Tau Ethereals start putting out some seriously dangerous stuff for their empire to use against psykers or Chaos and it could be used to allow Logar to escape the endless game of "I Hide and You Die" that him and Corax have been playing for 10k years, so both of them run off to go find the source of this tech, resulting in the Tau learning the real meaning of "How Not to be Seen"

Agreed. Nothing concrete, just lots of insinuation on Black Library''s part and lots of conjecture by fans. It does make the most sense for the Raven Guard to be the parent chapter BUT as stated, there isn't anything concrete. I think the closest we've ever gotten to an official GW confirmation is that in the old 40k app, it recommended using Raven Guard rules when fielding Carcharodons.
