Why do Morton and others keep trying to draw parallels between Meghan and Diana? Diana had her faults, but she was only 19 years old when she married Charles. She was also shy and found the attention difficult. Meghan was nearly 40 when she joined the Royal Family, had been married before, and was an extrovert and not particularly successful actress. She was never an A-lister, but certainly courted publicity however she could - and still does. Meghan has never ‘lost her voice’, on the contrary she’s never missed an opportunity to use it - either personally or through her friends and representatives and paid PR experts. U have to remember, MM married Harry in her mid 30s. Diana married Charles shortly after she turned 20. I also married at age 20. I was way too young to get married. Diana lived in a fishbowl and there was more paparazzi to deal with than MM. There is no poor MM. If she really is pregnant, she has an OB/GYN to help with all kinds of issues. She is almost 40 and should be able to figure things out by now. All royals have doctors.

Diana was NOT a child. The Queen was ONE year older at her marriage, performed civil service during WWII, a couple of years later became Queen. The royals were not insensitive to Diana and her plethora of emotional problems. It was an incompatible marriage, happens all the time to many people. Diana was born into aristocracy, she was quite capable, and although a lovely person she would have had marital difficulties if she married the corner mechanic. Emotional frailties are difficult for everyone involved. She died unfortunately a tragic death. The Woke generation is so laughable, always finding excuses - no personal responsibility, and the government should pay for EVERYTHING! Poor Britain, poor USA, poor world with this mentality. Oh, and real men are being beaten down, the only model now are the Beta males (like Harry) who have handed their balls over and couldn’t decide to fight their way out of a paper sack!

No doubt because of Diana's troubles integrating into royal life & because Meghan was foreign the Queen asked if she'd like to remain working, would like to take time but NO Meghan claimed she had been prepared by Harry and was more then prepared to throw caution to the wind & hit the "ground running". The Queen prepared a no. Of people to help Meghan on training & what she needed to know. I think shy people are more cautious and are prepared to take the time to learn and be prepared - that is why they have more success. To think Kate has given away both her voice and opinion is madness. Within the family while supporting the monarch both Kate's character and her voice - same as Sophie - come out to discuss the topics which the monarch supports. Anne was prepared to learn the ropes of her first chsrity I think she said it took her 10 years to feel comfortable talking about the cause in public. Seems to me success comes from study and a degree of caution - not at all from giving up one's voice.

I can’t help thinking Harry has an ulterior motive for returning to the UK supposedly just for Prince Phillip’s funeral. He had known for a year or more his grandfather was in poor health and hospitalized for a month toward the end of his life. Why didn’t Harry visit him when he was still alive and bring his son? No empathy shown when it really mattered. This smells very fishy to me and much out of character shown in the past year by Harry.I’ll bet he is not honoring the five day mandatory quarantine. Did he fly a friend’s private jet to the UK?
