I have a 2013 and this car is living proof that just because something isn't the fastest car ever doesn't stop it from being an AMAZING vehicle. Imo it has amazing looks, great reliability, practicality, and even though it's performance isn't mind-blowing, I still have a blast with it on the highway and anywhere I can get away with some spirited driving. It's a real shame Toyota didn't bring it with them when they killed Scion, and I've also seen tons of people rag on the tC because it's not some dual turbo Charger killer. Or some argue that it'd cannibalize sales of the 86 but the 86 is leagues less practical and in today's car market, I think a sport(y) economy coupe with fun yet not spectacular performance bundled with almost no compromise in terms of its use as a car you can drive every day is a dying breed. Everything seems to either be a 400hp no backseat, rough ride, zero cargo room sports car, or a sedan. I miss the era where the Prelude/Celica/Accord Coupe acted as a great middle ground between fun and realistic expectations.

The car has 133000 on odo and its 2014 tc, automatic, but the weird thing is that the scion badges are not there, its the normal toyota badge maybe because its a gcc specs car. do u have any advice on how to know that the car was well maintained or anything specific to focus on?

That’s exactly what I did. We bought a Honda Pilot for the Wife. Then I was deciding what to buy for myself. I was interesting on a Ford Focus ST, Impreza STI, or Honda SI. But, I was like man almost 30k for a Coupe? Then the 2014 TC, Came out and Felt in love with it. Specially the backseats has more room than the other cars that I was looking at. The trunk Space specially when backseats are folded down is amazing. I am not selling this car at all. Mine has 54k miles on it.

Not nm much you can do for higenpower upgrades unless you are will to spend like $700. But you can do really affordable upgrades that will render up to 5-15 hp gains, such as air intakes, exhaust, fuel.
