The most outrageous thing is for the Shi'ah to believe the Seal of the Messengers and Prophets of Allah was misguided when He married Aishah, and worst still, that Allah allowed him to have a wife who was not worthy of Him. Sheikh Ibn Taymiyyah also admitted that La’aan was sent upon Ali RA. There are many other sahih Hadith to prove that Ali RA was cursed upon the mimbar. Umm Salam also narrated this. If you want the references they will be provided and sheikh Zubair ali Zai and Sheikh nasurruddin Albani have authenticated the reports. End point is it ok to do Sab on Ali RA AS as he is a khalifa Rashid, and Sabiqoon Al Awaloon! Is it ok to criticise and rebuke such a sahaba and go against his authority and caliphate.

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever seeks knowledge in order to argue with the foolish or to show off before the scholars or to attract people’s attention, will be in Hell.” Narrated by Ibn Maajah (253). It was narrated from Jaabir ibn ‘Abdillah that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Do not seek knowledge in order to show off in front of the scholars or to argue with the foolish, or to choose the best seat in a gathering because of it, for whoever does that, the Fire, the Fire (awaits him).” Narrated by Ibn Maajah (254).

I greatly respect Sir Adnan. But go and check Sahih muslim 6229 The words are of Lanah to Hazrat Ali (RA). “Sab”means lanah in these hadiths Sahih Muslim 6229 Sahlb. Sa'd reported that a person from the offspring of Marwan was appointed as the governor of Medina. He called Sahl b. Sa'd and ordered him to abuse 'Ali. Sahl refused to do that. He (the governor) said to him: If you do not agree to it (at least) say: May Allah curse Abu Turab. Sahl said: There was no name dearer to 'Ali than Abu Turab (for it was given to him by the Prophet himself) and he felt delighted when he was called by this name.
