Someone once said it on another channel that sims 3 is for game players and sims 4 is for builders. I’m coming from the OG era of sims 1,2, etc and seeing how sims 4 is more family friendly, I hate it. Sims 1 hella risqué, sims 2 risqué, sims 3 a combination of family and tap dancing on risqué and sims 4 is just family friendly. I feel the day EA will stop doing what they are doing when certain EA early access players stop gassing it up and put their foot down and tell EA they can no longer support it and experience the lack of sales. I hope with these new simulations coming out it forces EA to do right but I doubt it because there will always be that one person who will continue to suck on EA’s golden tit.

I 100% agree with everything you are saying and feeling. It’s so frustrating to feel like the game I loved and grew up with is just turning into some money hungry scheme. Lol it really does feel like a toxic relationship, we knew it wasn’t gonna be the Sims 3 right off the bat, and we waited and waited buying pack after pack thinking we’d have the same gameplay and quality and instead we’ve been nickled and dimed to get a portion of that. It makes zero sense to me! EA were screwing Sims 4 fans over before they even purchased it: You've heard of Project Olympus right? EA were going to release an online sims game but panicked 1 year before release and scrapped it (Sim City debacle). Rather than change the release date and start creating Sims4 from scratch, EA just took pieces of Project Olympus and jammed it together to look like a standard game - REPEAT, ONLY 1 YEAR LEFT- and released what gameplay scraps they had. That's why the game had no toddlers and no pools at launch (and still so, so many issues). EA never actually designed a genuine Sims4 game for us, they were only thinking of profits WHILE SIMS3 WAS STILL ACTIVE. EA know what they're doing & the fact that people are still snapping up those kits despite the broken game shows they know their audience, so why change? And why keep playing?

i recently learnt how to crack sims and a few weeks ago i cracked the sims 3 with all the packs and store worlds...let me just say i became hooked to the game for HOURS and HOURS days on end it was so fun and so much to do even without cc as sims 3 cc hasn't been updated for years it was amazing! The worlds were absolutely beautiful with lots of accessible lots and rabbit hole lots like the cinemas and restaurants and there is so much emotion in the game too. I then cracked the sims 4 with all the packs and dlc and got bored after 2 hours lmao it felt like so much was missing (because there is) and the game in general is just so shallow 💀 i recently cracked growing together as the game play looked alright the way they were advertising it and it absolutely SUCKS haven't touched it since the day i installed it...back to sims 3 i go

They cobbled together the scraps of Project Olympus in 1 year to sell this frankensteined Sims4 game and it shows. It showed at launch and it still shows now. Compare it to the rest of it's franchise and it's not a step up from it's prior titles like all the other Sims game are. Pretty graphics are no excuse for a poor game. "Old school" gamers know this.

Yup. EA wants the young because they don't know how good it used to be. All the original players will eventually leave and go to Life by You and probably Paralives if it comes out. I already bought Life by You and it's making me so happy to hear new info about the game everyday. Everyday it sounds better and better than The Sims.

i have been playing the sims 4 since it came out. i own every expansion and 90% of the other packs. however, growing together was the first expansion i feel was not really an expansion and not at all worth the money. i thought the compatibility system was going to be way more complex than it was and that was the main selling point for me. it’s basically just more likes and dislikes (but this time based on your sims traits.) mind you we didn’t even get ANY new traits with this pack.. and the ones we have already are lacking.

I've never seen a game as lacking and expensive as the sims 4. $40 buys you a fully complete game with either open worlds to explore or decently sized instanced maps you could explore, decent lore of the game, and have fleshed out complete gameplay. Sims 4 is literally a doll house. You are confined to your lot with no incentive to leave your lot because most lots all feel the same. We have a total of 22 lot types if you ignore all living spaces like tiny homes and college and I've only found 5 with distinctive rules attached to the lot besides items placed. Gameplay is just players are supposed to play pretend and imagine your sim has a crush on a co-worker while also wanting to woohoo with the hot neighbor across the street who is happily married to your best friend and has 4 kids. Just pretend and imagine things the same way kids do with barbie.

I purchased" my first pet " Tuesday,... last night,my sims wouldn't move or respond to anything I wanted them to do.. even if they were tired,they usually went to bed on their own,.. I had to continue clicking the same response... there must be a problem with these packs,so I'm going to wait awhile before purchasing anymore of any type of packs until I hear they are fixed..

Growing Together is the 1st & last game pack I pre-ordered / paid full price for. Tried to give myself an early birthday present & just have must a headache. The fact the changing table used a base game swatch & wasn't included in the free update. You can't even develop the infants without the pack - they pop out ready to sit up & crawl away. It's insulting.

Expansion Packs: $29.99 Game Packs: $19.99 World Packs(replacing stuff packs): $9.99 Kits can get the F outta here, because I you can get higher quality "kits" from modders for FREE! Reason I took worlds out of expansion Packs and made it separate is for 1 reason, I can bet my booty that the majority of people, like me, buy the expansion Packs for the new worlds only. Game Packs should be for new game play, hence the name Game Pack. Expansion should be things that expand the base game playability. Worlds should be worlds. Kits can kick rocks.

Sims 3 was a whole vibe for me and I still play it to this day! Every pack was good and I didn’t cc or mods. The sims 4 Has no Substance! I’ll build and make sims but I can’t play the damn game!! I’ve never even played an elder 😂😂😂😂. The infants are cute and kept my attention for about three days.

Sorry to hear that and I would say KZbin is your best friend figure out a budget and go to a computer store or search online the parts you want if your building. If you don’t wanna build then you can buy a pre-built system on Amazon or a pc builder website. Watching videos and learning how to build a pc is a good place to start too cause you can learn about the parts. I hope this kind of helps.

I am still baffled people get their hopes up at all at this point. They have shown us players who they are over and over again. Growing Together met all my expectations for an EA game/expansion pack. They only release subpar or broken stuff. Worlds with no substance only visually pleasing to the eye. New broken gameplay features that have to be patched. Reskins of clothes and build buy items. They nailed it with this pack.
