I wish I had discovered the Valley Oak before I purchased the Hoss. I like the adjustability with no wrenches and I especially like the way the attachments come on and off. Maybe next year.

I bought one. I have had it a little over two months now. Before I was using a couple of old Planet Junior wheel hoes that are probably between 70 and 80 years old. The Valley Oak is more robustly built. I think I will have to stay around another 150 years to wear it out.

I like it a lot but I think the price is too high to be a manual tool.

For a good tool $300 as they priced is common. $500 for the package. A good broadfork, seeder, or scythe are often $300. With each you are set for life and gardens are actually managed more easily.
