Fully understand why they want rid of the French influence, but the idea that a Russian (until recently) private mercenary group is the best replacement is ludacris. France and Belgium left some of the most modern and advanced infrastructure in the 1930's. Africans destroyed it. They had Peugeot, Oil, Gas, Coal, Rubber, and Cacao plants and refineries. Africans destroyed it. They tore apart the electrical grid the French left them to sell it for scrap. Rhodesians left the most modern and advanced farming equipment; the Africans left the equipment to rot and sold it for scrap. Central Africa will never advance because of the Africans. Only ones doing decent is Nigeria, is it is purely because they still have massive amounts of foreign influence. Investing in Africa is massive waste of resources unless it is for war and conflict.
