The main problem in the entire world today is the monetary system in play which is debt based and Usury is attached to any currency created.

Whereas this was my take: THIS CHANNEL LOOKS SUSPICIOUSLY LIKE fascism in a nice suit with a semi-logical basis - two truths and a lie respectable pathway to being a nazi...

Add in the effects of inflation and deficit spending on the Federal level and I'd arguing the US is not growing at all... and hasn't been in quite a while.

Years ago I asked a PhD economist to explain how an automobile engine worked. He could not even start but he drove a white SUV. We have had 70 years of planned obsolescence and economists won't even acknowledge its existence. What is *Net Domestic Product.* *GDP is Grossly Distorted Propaganda* Karl Marx used the word 'depreciation' 35 times in the first two volumes of his major work. Where is the data on the annual depreciation of durable consumer goods since Sputnik? Economists cannot do algebra!

Im British I live in Bulgaria. My hobby is tailoring. My 1929 USSR made tailors iron the electrical connector broke. I bought a new connector at the hardware store 400m from my apartment for $1 equivalent and I am sure it will last another 80 years.

@@piccalillipit9211 I do not doubt that a DVD player could be made to last that long but I doubt that most would last 8 years. Of course the format will be long obsolete by then.

Yes, this has to do with their problem of over-production, which was additionally 'solved' by advertising and consumerism.

Well this is an interesting conversation and the problems that the US economy faces are numerous and dire, but the de-dollarization threat to dollar hegemony narrative is pure fiction. See Dollar Milkshake theory. Gold was abandoned as a foundation of currency for good reason - It cannot provide elasticity that a reserve currency requires. The US is the only economy in the world capable of absorbing the world's production, US capital markets are the only markets large enough to absorb the world's monetary surplus, and the US military is the most powerful in the world by an order of magnitude. Wanna trade some US treasuries for Russian or Chinese government bonds? Didn't think so. For better or worse, the Eurodollar system is not going away; The "tallest dwarf" in this case, is a behemoth - a giant among it's peers.

This is a very elitist view, and does not consider the 90% of the US public. This foreign money has started to compete with the American public for housing and investment opportunities for example. Foreign money, like in example pooled money in investment funds from oil countries, can outcompete almost all American enterprises. This rattles the foundation of the American societal agreements, and we see the consequences. Additionally, the reserve currency always destroys manufacturing. In a time of crises, the country cannot devalue their currency, in fact it rises against other currencies, while other countries devalue their currency usually. There is also almost no edge in manufacturing anymore as education, science and information can be accessed anywhere. The US has countered this trend since early 2000s with massive public debt, however this does not work. All the money that is pumped into companies and production will be outsourced as soon as the companies have a problem, which simply arises from human nature. No company can run perfect forever, and cost cutting is the first solution to any company crisis. Innovation also does not stay long inside the US, in fact the US is over-reliant on foreigners who innovate for them. 40% of all US STEM students are not born in US. Also this debt creates inequality as money printed to pay it off only goes to select few. Ironically, climate change will cost America its hegemonial status but also save America. Climate change will burn down half the world down. The climate models are nice and give pretty powerpoint, however, no one should expect rational reactions from the humans impacted. Human reaction towards climate change will kill most of the third world. The US will then readily and happily give up, as it does not want to manage landscapes in permanent-crisis. Ironically, the west will be likely be the last man standing.
