Why the Wii UDraw Tablet Failed | Review

The Nintendo Wii definitely had some of the strangest accessories. You have your Wii Zapper, Wii Bowling ball? This thing, even a vitality sensor that never saw the light of day.
However, one that is usually brought up in the conversation is the UDraw Tablet created by THQ. In this video, we are going to be diving into the development, hardware, software of the peripheral, and how everything led to its demise. Anyways let's get started.

Do any of these can make animation? Or do I have to manually up load induvial images to a editing program? Just asking.

I don't quite remember, but I don't think there are animation tools in the U Draw software.

Since there are ways to connect this thing to your PC, I would say that it is a terrible alternative to a Wacom At least the Wii version, anyway. I still have yet to try the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, but my expectations aren't very high

I was interested in the accessory but was not sure how much will it get into gaming. Drawing and painting? No thanks. Scribblenaut? Nah. It seems interesting and I’m sure there is a huge potential but there wasn’t much that it offered for gaming.

I guess it could've worked as a sensor bar alternative for games like Ivy the Kiwi? Though, unfortunately this isn't actually a feature of the tablet - it only works with UDraw games.

No. It is just like the Wii Wheel. You can't use it without the Remote. The remote is the only way to communicate with the Wii.

And we in germany got it only after christmas so .. the Timing wasnt good to sell units and another thing is, I am left handed can I use the wii remote and the pen on the same time? It doesnt look like i could
