If you follow our channel you'll have come to realize that Wise Watches out of Thailand have quickly become my favorite watch Microbrand. In under a year I have purchased three of their watches. For the first time though one of their watches won't make it into my personal collection of six (soon to be eight) watches.
It's not because it's a bad watch. On the contrary it's an exceptional watch. One of the nicest looking and executed watches I've ever seen at it's price point. What keeps me from adding it to my collection is me. My own physical limitations make this watch, actually any GMT watch unwearable for me. My poor eyesight just doesn't allow for it.
A GMT dial is somewhat busy. Not as busy as a World Timer or Chronograph with three sub dials, but busy enough to make it difficult to read at a glance if you don't have the best vision. In fact while trying this watch on for a few days I twice mistook the time because the outer 24 hour bezel stands out so much. It stands out even more at night of course because of the excellent lume application.
For someone who likes a classically designed GMT that looks every bit the part dressed up or worn to the office. Well this watch is perfect. I would say it's better than most watches with similar designs that are 5 times it's price. I wish my eyes were better so that I could enjoy it on wrist as much as I enjoy looking at it through a macro lens.

I decided to purchase the ADX because, it is an affordable GMT it shows 3 times zones. As I live in europe, have family in thailand and travel to the us sometimes. The lume of the ADX is gorgeous and shines long. In the plane, after they turned off the cabin lights, I still could read the time for hours. The Miyota 9075 is unbelievably accurate and the size of 40mm is perfect for my 7“ wrist. What bothers me a bit is, that the bezel turns hard and the short GMT hand will disappear under the longer hour hand sometimes. But overall…the watch is definitely worth the money. I replaced the FKM to a nato strap (black with blue center stripe) and got also a blue sail cloth for it. I consider to purchase the oceanus T200s as a travel companion as well. I saw it once in person and where fascinated by the blue tint on the frame of the sapphire (you mentioned it in your vdo of this watch), I‘ve never seen before. @@WhyWeBuyIt Hi😊Yeah, I have a few (no luxury) of big brands and micro brands: Seiko diver 55th limited edition , 55th Kawamura, Prospex world timer, Dress SKX / Bulova Mil-Ships, Lunar Pilot, Devil Diver / Citizen Promaster Land titanium / Casio G shock / Sinn 104 (three hands day date) / Venizianico GMT/ Maranez Samui (Doxa 300 Hommage), Brew retro dial Looking forward to have a Tudor GMT, Tudor Ceramic, Kurono Tokyo and my grail could be a Rolex DJ 41 with the fluted bezel…but not sure about their waitlist policy

@puttapongkissener3729 That's a sweet selection of watches. I've almost bought the milships multiple times. I love the smaller size diver without any loss of legibility. It's such a great design. Not sure where you're located but a friend of mine just walked into a Rolex store and bought a Rolex Datejust on the spot with zero Rolex history here in Toronto. Of the other models you listed I also love the Hanhart.

Just watched this video , interesting as usual. I really like the styles from Wise and will get one someday. I have maybe 3 GMT watches for some reason , I don't travel anywhere just like the look of them. I really like the Black Dial GMT wise with the gold plating on the dial ADX101YG , beautiful watch ... keep up the good work ! 👌

@@stevenwilliams176 I agree with you. The ADX101YG is an absolutely beautiful watch. It's probably a good thing it wasn't released when I was there or I probably would have bought it on the spot. That would have been an even more costly mistake. I love the look of GMTs. It kills me that I've had to scratch them off the list. I need to figure out which complication not only appeals to me but doesn't limit the legibility of the watch.

@stevenwilliams176 My Oceanus is my favourite travel watch also. I wanted a GMT for the additional time zone but unfortunately that just didn't work out. The Oceanus is my personal favourite watch.

Thanks for the video. I already have 3 Wise models, I buy them in Bangkok, it's cheaper there. I will definitely buy gmt as well when I return there again!

That’s a pity it doesn’t work for you. I bought two of these (Batman and the limited edition blue dial), hoping to get them in January. I already have an Aquaracer GMT so the legibility is a non issue for me. I just love the look of gmt watches in general!
