@lewisnorden3276
@lewisnorden3276 7 жыл бұрын
Joe A. Verage They had less than half the staff that worked on GTA5. Also if Bethesda is small how comes they have and brought out DOOM, Quake, Fallout4, Prey, Dishonored, Skyrim SE. And yes I know they don't necessarily work on Prey or Dishonored but they still own the rights and company. So if they are so small how can they make so many games so quickly? CDPR has only made 4 games I believe and Cyberpunk is ages away! CDPR is much bigger now after Witcher 3 not before. CDPR have brought loads of FREE mini dlcs, constantly updating the game with things such as NG+, new walk modes and enemy level scaling. They deserve support because they support the consumer. If you bought the disc version it comes with soundtrack and booklet free. They respect us.

Would you mind linking the website about the size of the teams as I can't find it. So you are saying that the people behind Failout 4 were also working on DOOM , Quake and Skyrim SE? 2 of which came out in the same year. k then. The free DLC is kinda like a joke. Hey look we mad this stuff and releasing it for free, unlike Oblivion's *cough* horse armour. If the free DLC was already on-disc why release it for free. Surely they would want to sell it for money ( nope ) or release with hearts of stone and blood and wine as new gear costumes and other things. Nope. The only answer to your theory of it being locked is so we can get a constant stream of new features. That is however if what you say is true, again couldnt find any sites so can you link them pls, thx

I originally recorded this commentary/review at 1am after completing the main quest in The Witcher 3. For the last few months I've been carefully considering my thoughts and after the release of the Hearts of Stone expansion and another 35 hours of gameplay I'm happy to say I'm more confident than ever: this is the best game I've EVER played.

+Iluvatar Erú Overused assets an music? So... it's a video game then? I left the music on for most of my 200+ hours because it's so good. I found most of the skills to be pretty interesting too. I went for an alchemy build. You think axes look hilarious on Geralt which means that swords are not the only weapons you can wield right? As for Geralt being a boring and unlikable main character, well, everyone's entitled to their opinions but after having played through all 3 games and read all of the books that couldn't be further from the truth for me. I'd take Geralt as a protagonist over most RPG's cardboard cutout characters any day. Also sorry to hear you're not good at crafting - I really enjoyed it. I think the only armor set I haven't crafted yet is Bear. Velen being a "flat world map" is also just incorrect but if you consider the world content there "lazily presented" I'd hate to imagine what your standards are. At the end of the day being a shill would require some kind of reward for my opinions but seeing I doubt they even know this video exists I suppose this doesn't count. Sorry to hear that CDPR murdered your family and everything you love though seeing that's the only way I can see you being this bitter over someone's opinion though.

No I do not. Don't put words in my mouth. What I wanted from Bethesda last year was a game that looked and played like a 2015 game. What I got instead was a game that looked and played like a 2009 game with boring ass fetch quests, a two-bit main story, wonky AI, and major performance issues even on high-end computers. That's a shame considering Bethesda's 20+ years of experience developing video games.

My first two hours of W3, I swore up and down that it was overrated. Combat just seemed to consist of rolling and swinging the sword with an occasional sign attack. I kept dying against relatively weak enemies. I couldn't make sense of the UI. Killing monsters seemed to provide zero leveling support. Then I learned to hold my sword defensively while side stepping. Then I learned to prepare against specific enemies by checking the bestiary, and using things like oils. Then, most importantly, I focused on the main quests and certain side quests and not on aimlessly killing enemies in the wild like it was Skyrim. Now it's my favorite game.

By the way for anyone who completed the games and didn't check out the two DLCs yet, I strongly recommend getting both. I would personally recommend beating the story and then playing through Hearts of Stone, when you've beaten that play Blood and Wine, in my opinion it creates the perfect ending to wrap up the game. Blood and Wine I enjoyed especially much, play it! *Very* reasonably priced too considering how much content the DLCs provide, CDPR showing everyone how it's done even with DLCs! Great video.

People do seem to overlook the soundtrack, I know you mentioned it... but to me soundtracks are one of THE most important things to games or movies or... anything? This game's soundtrack was easily one of the best I have EVER heard. My ears are absorbed EVERYTIME. My only slight gripe is the variety, not because it is necessarily bad but... because I never fast traveled so spent a lot of time hearing the same tracks that would give me goosebumps everytime for the first few mins then I would be ready, and excited, to hear the next theme... nothing wrong with that but I did begin to feel a bit in need of relief... Just still listening to it and when I hear the soundtrack I get soooo elated and excited and just sit in awe... I am writing this while watching because I can't help doing it when the music grabs me!! Good video my friend, one of my fav games played, can't say the best as it is so different to many of my favourites! Dark Souls, Demon's Souls, Witcher 1/3 (Liked 2 but funnily enough I wasn't too impressed by the soundtrack and loved the game as the lore but felt the game itself a little tedious), Ratchet and Clank, Medievil, Mass Effect, Portal and Mount and Blade: Warband... An odd bunch!

On the other hand, oh my word the combat music and omg the music played in the quest about the cursed werewolf in skellige...holy shit! So to say it a bit more clear; music is sound af, but can be annoying as well. 8/10, since you're not forced that much to hear the most annoying tracks.

Before this game Last of Us was my favourite. I cried at the end of Witcher 3, I spent well over 200hrs and couldn't put it down. Still have much more to do, its just crazy. I have so much respect for this game that I sometimes just go back and walk around this fantasy world just to relax and admire the beauty.

its just so goddamn perfect. so many hours spent on watching sunsets, so many hours spent on watching the landscape, so many hours spent on doing side quests, so many times it made me crying for its incomparable beauty, it' heartbreaking music, it's groundbreaking atmosphere, and it's perfectly smooth gameplay! played it like 5 months after its release, many people recommended me that game, i never believed them, but i should have, its just PERFECT! i'm playing video games like for almost 22 years ( i'm 25 now) and this is a TRUE master piece, it' for real THE BEST game i have ever played in my entire life and i'm not lying! i'd instantly pay someone like 10000$ to remove all my memories from the witcher 3 from my brain, JUST TO RELIVE IT! THIS IS A TRUE 10/10, ITS A TRUE MASTERPIECE AND EVERYONEONE SHOULD EXPERIENCE IT!

I love this game so much I'm afraid of finishing it. I feel like much of the story is starting to come together and I worry that the end is near so I find myself trying to delay the main story as much as possible by doing all the extra side quests. I really don't want this to end!

+Evil GST Don't worry one expansion is already out and it's mindblowing. It's based on Polish tale about "Pan Twardowski". And second one is comming in next 3 months. It's expected to be twice bigger than first one and better but it's hard for me to believe than any dlc can be better than "mindlowing" first one but again it's CD Projekt RED so everything is possible.

I love this game so much. I've never enjoyed a game this much.The game just blows my mind. Everything about it is perfect. The crazy thing is I'm enjoying it even more on my second play through . Playing on the hardest difficulty is so fun because you need to utilize everything the game offers. I haven't even touched the new expansion yet which is said to be amazing. Take some time off. Play a different game or something. Then come back, start a new game +. It's just as amazing doing it all again because of all the I missed in my first playthrough + the different choices and a harder difficulty. Thank you CDPR for this masterpiece of a game.

@Bloodhurl67 8 жыл бұрын
It's simple you have your deck of cards the number represents how much damage you can do to the player. The player with the highest number(left side of the screen). Now there are weather cards. A weather card will basically supress a certain card's damage. Now there is Cards that can(it's like the weather cards)supress the enemy player's certain card placement damage. If they(or you) were to add a certain card to that placement(idk what its called) it will have less damage than shown.

@Bloodhurl67
@Bloodhurl67 8 жыл бұрын
There are certain cards that go in each of the boxes like the archery icon or the catapult icon. I didnt really explain the weather card clearly so the weather cards(fog, rain, snow, etc.) Once you activate one of those cards it will supress the damage of the boxes like archery or the catapult(sorry forgot the others) boxes on the enemy side and your side and the only to clear the weather is to have a clear weather card.

I've played almost 200 hours since I got Witcher 3 and I'm nowhere near the end of the game. I could probably play this thing for thousands of hours without getting bored, just exploring the scenery, doing crazy stuff, it's truly an awesome experience. I can't say they're as good as The Witcher 3, but if you like well written games with a solid story and realistic characters you should try some of Bioware's games. They're usually not that open world, but they make up for it with great writing and awesome gameplay. I really wouldn't recomment any Bethesda game to anyone unless they've done something awful and they deserve to suffer. They're good if you wanna hit someone in the head with a weapon in a sandboxy environment, but other than that they're completely lacking in every aspect.

Can't wait to start my new play trough with all the mods and DLC. I think a lot of gamers will agree with me, that Witcher 3 has something that is painfully lacking in games these days...and that is heart. The only bad thing about this is that CD project red showed us what can be achieved in this medium ;)...and now you can truly see how rare and precious are those truly amazing games.

I guess it will sound very stupid and cheesy, but i actually shed a tear, listening how much you liked it :D To me, as a Pole, The Witcher series is like Christian Andersen's tales for the Danish, as Tolkien for the English - the ultimate classic which, in a way, shaped my entire childhood and adolescence. The first story was published in 1986, i was born in '87. I read it so many times, i had very specific images of every single character in mind, i witnessed such horrible adaptations of these books, i was pretty sceptical when i heard that they are going to be games, too. But now, i can easily say that these games were the best thing that ever happened to the series. They brought it to live, and allowed people from all over the word to get to know some slavic mythology. I cannot explain how much i love Wild Hunt, not just as a Pole, but mostly, as a gamer. My only problem with it was - as you mentioned it yourself - that it had to end, eventually. I send lots of love to every other Witcher's lover

Two, the "ending" of this game took me roughly 10 hours to complete. At no point did I ever think to myself "I wish this would end". It never felt like it was dragging on or forced. I am kinda sad every time I think about how I'll never experience this again. This story, the way it was drawn out, the way all side quest tie into the main story line. I don't think it'll ever be pulled off again by anyone. The game made me feel real life feelings which is something I adore from games. If it can make me think when I turn it off if I made the right choice or not is an incredible feeling. Especially when you consider this is by all standards a small dev team with a tiny budget compared to the other big boys out there. A lot of games tout "hours" of additional content which is usually some silly side mission that is repeated 10 times. Even though the Witcher has mostly the same side quests they all feel so different form each other. The story's are all different and most of the time by the end of it you want to help the little boy who's dad was killed by a monster. Or the women who lost her kid. The writing in these characters makes you want to do what you can to help them. As far as music goes I listened to the soundtrack for 3 months straight. Home, work in my truck it didn't matter. I've played about 200 hours myself and never touched Gwent other than when I had to. The Bloody Baron quest alone is a 15 dollar DLC for most games and honestly puts most games stories to shame. The first DLC is out at this point and with most games the DLC never really feels good after the story of a game has been closed but even the paid DLC in this game is incredible. I only have time to say one more thing because it's ARMA time but I truly wish I could wipe my memory and play this thing again from scratch. It has ruined so many other games for me. Games that I want to play and they feel good but they aren't this. I'm not done talking tbh I could go on for hours but ISIS is taunting me :(

Very well said in this video, couldn't agree more. The witcher 3 is for me such a good game, that I can't find another right now to give just as good an experience. To be honest I am quite "afraid" that that this will be the case until CD Project Red releases Cyberpunk 2077

I missed out on this game because my gf at the time was extremely the jealous type. So much so that even naked girls in video games was considered cheating to her. Several years later we broke up and I am now finally able to experience this masterpiece of a game. I agree. Best game of all time.

The only thing i will never forget myself is that I've never heard about the Witcher back in 2010 .._i was hooked on the assassin's creed , i feel that I've lost too much from this amazing story...After playing the wild hunt i can't play 1 and 2 . Altair and ezio auditore were my favorite game characters , but Gerald is by far the most wise , complex, with a fabulous sense of humor and sarcasm that in my opinion makes him the best virtual character ever created .

Lol, this game is long as fuck. I've beaten it three times, and gotten the platinum trophy. Even still I play it after all that. Bought it for my birthday last year, best gift ever.

I am as attracted to this story as I have been to any movie or TV series while enjoying the most beautiful graphics and thrilling game play at the same time. This is infinitely better then anything I have ever played. I am pretty sure this is the greatest game ever. I will be playing 1 and 2 as soon as this is over.

Best game ever made and my favourite, real masterpiece, and i have played many many games since i started gaming when i was 4-5 years old. Polish CD Project RED did amazing job, even a Hearts of Stone or Blood and Wine dlc is better than most of the "AAA" games. Witcher 3 is my first Witcher game, and when i got it i was sceptical, but after 5-10 hours of playing, i started to really enjoy it. I played it about 250+ hours and collected 100% of trophies, what journey. Im considering of bying Witcher 3 goty version and collect trophies from it too.

This is such a good review. I've seen so many people give the game ratings of as low as 6/10, nitpicking such minute details as, "The character has as much as a 1/2 second lag! Inconceivable for a next gen game! The shrubs? Horrible wind effect! Clunky controls! Horrible combat! Gwent is such a waste of time! 30 fps? Ridiculous! Etc..." They made a groundbreaking game if you ask me.

Croton that's the problem. Almost every single person who gets to bash the Witcher, saying it's just average is a Zelda fan. Probably because they believe that Zelda is the best thing ever and nothing can come close to it, and this blinds then to everything else

I had about 80 hours invested in Skyrim, when things became too repetative. But after 743 hours playing the Witcher 3 I still have some question marks on the Skellige map and still every time I start the game I am amazed by it's graphics and beautiful scenery. I was one of the lucky ones to see the army of luminescant small crabs crawling on shore at dusk, they seem to appear only once every few hundred hours of gaming and at a random place so if you do see them, take a screenshot because you will probably never see them again. Take a few steps past them, turn around, and they are gone. Some have found the crows skull, of the crow flying through the guy's eye in the intro, but I could not find it. I did find a cavity inside a cave using Ard randomly with a hidden treasure chest that was not visible using my witcher eye sight nor were they marked on the on screen map. There are still 3 chest of which I do not have the key and do not know where they are. The game still has many secrets that have not been uncovered yet, even almost 5 years after release. I fully agree, best game ever. Great video, thanks!

Witcher 3 IS the love of my life. Been playing RPGs for 30 years now. I´ve seen it all, but Witcher 3 (including the DLCs that make the game perfect) is simply unbeatable and beyond any comparison. I have played it 4 times through (total of 1138h) and discovered many unknown details and possibilities even on my 4th playthrough! The incredible music, the characters and their depth, the world, the brutality, the erotic, the exciting and emotional story line, the combat system, the lore, the HUGE and most beautiful world... all come together to combine and form an unforgettable experience. Witcher 3 is LOVE, Witcher 3 is LIFE. I can but hardly express my admiration, my love and gratitude to CDPR for this literally hundreds of hours filling, MASSIVE and EPIC MASTERPIECE OF ALL TIMES - that is WITCHER 3. Just the thought that CDPR obviously is planing a Witcher IV sends shivers down my spine. Tip to the hat to all Witcher 3 friends out there who feel the same and know exactly how insufficient words are to express the memories and feelings, when you hear the tunes or even the name....Geralt of Rivia.
